This versatile Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for IA-BP210E & IA-BP420from Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for IA-BP210E & IA-BP420charges any Samsung IA-BP210E and IA-BP420 type batteries via the included dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. It features a fold-out 2-prong US plug and is supplied with a European plug adapter as well as a 12VDC car charger that plugs into a cigarette lighter. This makes the charger ideal for use both at home and on the road.

The Compact AC/DC Charger features a USB power output that allows you to charge and power MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input--even while charging your camera or camcorder batteries. With its easily interchangeable plate, the charger can also be used for other battery models via the purchase of an additional battery adapter plate.

A: Most Pearstone charger plates are interchangeable with the Watson charger plates and as long as they match the shape of the charger plate cavity. A: I have not noticed any difference in charging or performance.

A: This requires a battery adapter plate if you're using it for a camera battery. It comes with the plate for the LP-E12, and you can swap that piece out down the road for other battery plates.

[0.35 lb] In case you may not know, Ricoh's newest GR II camera does not come with a charger for its batteries, favoring instead direct USB-to-camera charging via an included, although very short, proprietary USB cable. While this is a useful feature in case you need it, it's just not feasible for charging any spare batteries when you're traveling. This charger is great, it's very small and compact, and very lightweight. It is $40 cheaper than Ricoh's OEM BJ-6 battery charger, and it's actually better too. I recently brought this to Japan with me, and right out of the box it's compatible with 100-240V 50-60Hz power grids. There's no need to flip any switches for different countries, just plug it in and go. Ricoh's OEM battery charger advertises that it takes 2 hours to fully charge a depleted battery. While I was in Japan, a fully depleted battery only took 1 hour to fully charge. In addition, even while you're charging a battery, there is a powered USB port that you can use to charge another USB device simultaneously. It's a very handy and thoughtful feature; I left my iPhone charger back home and only needed to rely on this. This charger can accommodate other optional faceplates for other battery models, many of which you can buy separately here at B&H. With this charger, together with my Ricoh GR II, I love that my entire pro camera setup weighs less than a pound. This is a must-buy for any Ricoh GR user, especially for travelers! 5
