The Blonder Tongue CATV Modulator SAW Filter Channel 39from Blonder Tongue CATV Modulator SAW Filter Channel 39is an all-solid-state audio/video modulator that provides a modulated visual and aural RF carrier output on one specific CATV channel. The unit modulates the audio and video inputs and provides the requested RF CATV channel output for use in a CATV, MATV or SMATV system. The modulator accepts standard (sync negative) polarity video at a 0.7-2.5V peak to peak level from sources such as a TV camera, video tape recorder, TV demodulator or satellite receiver.

The modulator features a +55dBmV RF output level, and an IF SAW filtering for adjacent channel operation. All aeronautical channels are offset positive with a tolerance of ±5kHz as required by FCC 21006. All level controls are located on the front panel. The RF level control provides up to +55dBmV output. The video modulator control sets the depth of modulation for 87.5% over an input video level range from 0.7VP/p to 2.5VP/p. An audio modulation control permits adjustment for ±25kHz peak deviation of the aural carrier.

A: Hi Colin The locking mechanism on these Orca pouches are quite sturdy. The pouch has a protruding cross, that marry with a sunken negative of the same shape on the bag when tilted 90 degrees. In other words, it keys into the bag at 90 degrees and locks by turning it up right. I'm not shure how this pouch or the Petrol pouch would key into a cheese plate unless you mounted the receiving key to it first. Bongo ties and stick on Velcro is how I usually go about mounting receivers to the camera.BestLouw

A: Doesn't appear so. The Dolica plate is square. The QS-39 plate is slightly rectanglular.

[CATV channel 39] The factory shipped the device to us very quickly; we received it in only two days. The mechanical workmanship is jewel-like; it's almost a work of art. The instructions imply that one end is the input, but this is not the case, as it's bidirectional. We confirmed this with Ditek tech support, whose response time was exceptionally short.
