The Blonder Tongue CATV Modulator SAW Filtering Channel 32from Blonder Tongue CATV Modulator SAW Filtering Channel 32is an all-solid-state audio/video modulator that provides a modulated visual and aural RF carrier output on one specific CATV channel. The unit modulates the audio and video inputs and provides the requested RF CATV channel output for use in a CATV, MATV or SMATV system. The modulator accepts standard (sync negative) polarity video at a 0.7-2.5V peak to peak level from sources such as a TV camera, video tape recorder, TV demodulator or satellite receiver.

The modulator features a +55dBmV RF output level, and an IF SAW filtering for adjacent channel operation. All aeronautical channels are offset positive with a tolerance of ±5kHz as required by FCC 21006. All level controls are located on the front panel. The RF level control provides up to +55dBmV output. The video modulator control sets the depth of modulation for 87.5% over an input video level range from 0.7VP/p to 2.5VP/p. An audio modulation control permits adjustment for ±25kHz peak deviation of the aural carrier.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I connect this to a PC via the headset socket or USB (and an appropriate cable)?

A: This will only connect via the listed outputs to compatible audio inputs. It will not connect to a headphone output or a USB port on a computer. Outputs: 2 x balanced XLR 1 x Mix Out (1 and 2) unbalanced 1/4" (6.3 mm)

Q: 2. Does this support 3rd party cameras such as the Canon CR-N300 or similar?

A: The Honeywell MAXPRO Professional Edition 32-Channel NVR is designed to work best with Honeywell network cameras. It is not designed to work with Professional PTZ cameras like the Canon CRN300.

Q: 3. Can this unit run 32 wireless mics simultaneously?

A: This PreSonus StudioLive 32S Series III S 32-Channel Digital Mixer does have 32 mic inputs, which you can use to connect wireless microphone systems.

Q: 4. Does this have USB Type PC Connectivity ?

A: The Yamaha MGP32X will not interface with a computer. The USB connector is to record to a flash drive or playback from an iPhone iPad.

Q: 5. What inputs does this have and do I need an AD/DA converter?

A: Analog inputs on XLR and dB-25 connectors. This is an analog product. It accepts analog inputs and provides analog outputs. connections to a patchbay is recommended.

Q: 6. I want to purchase a compatible lav mic for this unit. What are the requirements to connect a lav mic to the wireless transmitter besides "3-pin mini XLR"? Any other special requirements?

A: No special requirements are need just a simple plug and play of the xlr cable. Here is a link to compatible lava mics to be used with system. https://bhpho.to/30qcQAo

Q: 7. I see a reply from Logan rep that the rail can be used with the #2000 mat cutter. Where do I get the clips that attach to the cutter and slide on the rail?

A: Unfortunately, we do not carry the 501/162 nylon guides and screws mentioned by Logan separately.

Q: 8. 1.) Would this work well to use as a line mixer to bring synths into DAW interface? Is this mixer quiet, both in audio path as well as in a control room (i.e.: fan noise)?

A: This is an excellent low-noise analog mixer very suitable for your proposed application with synths.

Q: 9. Is this system complete? Or do I need an additional amplifier or speaker to project voices into a large room?

A: The VocoPro Digital-32 does not come with a speaker.

Q: 10. why do you recommend this particular mixer?

A: The question would be better posed as why would you recommend this particular mixer ? This is a desk made for live work and is well suited for the job. With 32 in's and 8 sends these can be especially useful when dealing with multiple cue mixes and several EFX sends. Most of the dynamic parts of the desk such as the one knob compressor and auto ducking, will save you a lot of set up time which is very valuable in a live situation. There is a Stereo Image function that will help narrow the stereo spread which can be useful for live work. Along with both a standard type (Comp) and a 3-band divided (Multi-band) compressor across the 2 mix output bus. I would recommend this desk for the numerous options it has along with a very straight ahead design.

[-7 dB to -20 dB] This is the second VRD-1FF I've bought. The first one lasted 9 years, but this spring our house was hit by lightning. The old VRD-1FF started adding 6dB signal loss, so I figured the lightning hurt it. Just like the original, the new VRD-1FF has eliminated the ground loop hum that was on our incoming CATV Cable

[CATV channel 32] I have Denon & Atmos speaker setup, cablebox from Comcast & a subwoofer. The cheap $20 isolator available online didn't do a good job since comcast signal was degraded per their tech. He said that it introduced some noise feed back to their other customers. Not sure how much of that is true but he did say that if I were to get an isolator get something over 1000mhz and this one fit the spec. I installed it and so far all is great. No issues.
