The Heliopan Bay 1 Clear Protection Filteris a simple, clear filter designed for general protection to the front of your lens. This optically clear filter helps to reduce dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from damaging your lens without affecting the overall image quality.

The front and rear surfaces of the filter both feature a single anti-reflection coating. Each coating helps to increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. Additionally, they offer protection to the filter substrate while helping to keep the glass clean for longer than uncoated glass.

A: You can fit a 6 x 6 filter into a 150mm filter holder. (The 6 x 6 is only 2mm larger) You would have to put the filter in the rearmost slot. This will protect the lens from direct hits. However, you may wish to do what we do on a movie set and use black paper tape to seal the filter so that no sand/dust/water droplets can get in.
