[2.18 lb] Okay, I might be biased here since I am a fanboy of Bright Tangerine products. We have been waiting on this since 2014, and they finally started shipping. And amazingly this is the best manual follow focus my hands ever touched. The focus wheel is so smooth to the touch, so creamy smooth as a butter melting on your lips. I mean it literally. It is so easy to configure. Packed with so many features. This is a one-sided follow focus. You have the swing arm that comes in two different ratios, this one the cine kit comes with the 1:1.842 ratio for cine lenses. I purchased separately the 1:1 ratio swing arm with this kit as I intend to use it on still lenses as well. The swing arm can go to either side of the bridge.. the kit comes with two different gears that can go on both sides of the swing arm. I picked this over the bigger studio version because of its compact size and lightweight. Two other accessories you might consider to add to your list, the Flexible Handwheel, and the Speed Crank. Two great products that are perfectly machined. Now to the downside, though this partly my mistake but the main selling point for me was that the soft/hard stops on the handwheel. It is a feature they talked about a lot since 2014. It was the biggest selling point for me. The downside is the kit doesn't come with the soft/hard stops. You have to purchase them separately. In my utter confusion, I have no clue why they decided not to include this with the kit. You are buying the kit, and this is a must in every kit. So if you are buying this, just know that you want to add the Soft/Hard Stop to your kit.

[2.18 lb] Ive been saving up for a Bright Tangerine Revolvr Atom because I wanted something versatile and fast with my set up for a lot of the run and gun shoots that I do. When I first got my package from B&H, my kit was missing the hand wheel piece. I called B&H the next day and they advised me to contact Bright tangerine myself to retrieve the missing piece. Luckily, within 5 minutes of emailing Bright Tangerine with my order mix-up, they had responded and had the hand wheel overnighted to me the very next day. Its great knowing when you buy top quality gear, that the manufacture takes enough pride to offer top quality service as well. I cant wait to see what other film making tools Bright Tangerine will start to make.

[2.18 lb] I was nervous ordering this follow focus because I could not find reviews anywhere, I took a leap of faith and it paid off. I was looking for a follow focus that I could invest into one time and expect it to last through different camera rigs and many years. I like the form factor of the Arri studio Follow focuses and I wanted to try to find one like the Arris but at a lower price. This follow focus seems to be the cheapest in the professional studio class and I think stands up the same as a Chrosziel, O'Connor or Arri. You can feel the quality on this Follow focus everything is made out of aluminum except of the marking disks and parts of the focus wheel. I can see this unit being able to take quite a beating. I like that every this is adjustable, you have the choice of three different gears (all 0.8 pitch) that can mount on either side of the belt drive arm and the arm its self can move to either side of the unit. The focus wheel can come out and it looks to have the same sized shaft as an Arri so you might be able to get different wheels and such for it. Out of the box you can either mount to 19mm rods of 15mm light weight.One thing I appreciate is the inclusion of a 64 tooth gear along with the standard 43tooth gears, when I first put the unit on my camera rig the 42tooth gears were too small to reach my small photographic lenses but with the 64tooth gear it was not a problem and I almost guarantee there is no lens it could not reach.I will say there is a very minuscule amount of play in the unit but not enough that I would pay another few grand for a more expensive follow focus. The included whip SUCKS it would just turn in place as I tried to pull focus, it's about as useful as over cooked spaghetti. Everything else in the kit is great though!All in all this thing is great!!!!

[2.18 lb] I purchased the 203 version of this follow focus (one generation back) secondhand and immediately I noticed the modern design and solid quality. The thing that sets a professional follow focus apart from the lesser expensive versions is the machining tolerances. Chrosziel manufactures this unit with very low tolerances meaning there are no gaps or wiggle room where there shouldn't be. The gearing mechanism is smooth and performs as expected. The marking discs click into place with a satisfying snap. The knob handle is large enough to firmly grab onto but not overbearingly large. It has a slim profile and fits well into cases etc. Don't skimp on getting a cheap follow focus, it's an integral part of what makes a movie, focus!

This beats that out. It's cushy, sturdy, and extremely comfortable in the hand. Time will tell how well this springyness holds up but I'm very content for the time being.
