[Steel] I'm a drummer and didn't want another stand confusing the floor space. This is a good and sturdy alternative. However it could be made simpler to change from right to left hand use. Three little screws and nuts in low light situations - really?

[Steel] This is strong enough to hold a considerable amout of weight securely. Obviously within reason.

[Steel] I was using a smaller version of this and could never keep my music on it. I fasten this to a mic stand on the side of my steel guitar, and until something better comes along, this is it!

[3.6 lb] As a guitarist who's tired of being hidden behind a full sized music stand I thought I'd give this a try. It works very well. It will not hold a heavy book but is quite adequate for a folder of music. It certainly gives me a more streamlined look during a performance and allows people to see my hands and instrument better. One thing I should mention is that if you use a telescoping type of mic stand you will need to attach this stand to the thickest tube as it does not attach well to the thinner length extending tubes. The stand seems well designed and sturdily built although I haven't subjected it to the rigors of jobbing yet. I'm hoping it will do well!

[3.6 lb] Like others have said, it's heavy... but that's what I like about it. For my application it's perfect in a vocal booth. But it reasonated with my voice. I added little adhesive foam on the back, and that took care of it. I love the smaller size, yet the lip is big enough to hold pencils or what ever I need access to. It's also very reasonably priced. Great product.

[3.6 lb] I find that this stand clips on easily to both the thicker part (bottom) of the mic stand, as well as the periscoping (thin) part. It's quite sturdy, and tilts as you need it. I was prepared for it to have a small surface (some reviews made it sound like you could only get an index card up there), but it holds both landscape and portrait letter sizes easily. The best part is that it is low profile, and fits easily in the gig bag with the mic stands. If you have a huge notebook of music, and want to see two pages at once, well, maybe this isn't for you. But short of that, it's a great item.

[3.6 lb] This clamp on accessory is the perfect fit for my drum machine. It tilts and allows me to adjust, which helps me fit into tight performing spaces.

[Steel] I used to remember all my lyrics, but with age has come foggy brain! This is just the right size for stage, not too big and easy to clip on to a mic stand.

[Steel] This music stand is perfect for my needs. Great for the limited space in my sound booth, yet wide enough to hold multiple pages. I really like how adjustable it is.

[Steel] This is perfect for attaching to a mike or monitor stand. Nice construction and quite heavy duty. I was surprised at the weight...it's quite nice.
