[Lightning Male] Just plugged it into the lightning connector of my iPad, with an HDMI cable it connected instantly to a projector. Seemed a bit pricey but Apple connectivity, quality, and guaranteed compatibility is worth it. A great travel accessory for connecting to hotel TVs. 5

[Lightning Male] After years of trying to teleprompt by using a phone as a remote control for the ipad, I got tired of the scripts appearing differently on the client's screen versus what my phone showed. What's the point of seeing the script on your phone if it's not anywhere close to what the client is seeing. So, I got one of these adapters, a 12 inch monitor, a long 16 foot thin HDMI cable, and now I run the prompter app on my iPhone (in horizontal orientation) and it shows exactly the same on the prompter monitor. Highly recommended. 5
