A: No. As you can see on the product view it only has a switch for Normal-Macro . I find this lens needs to be set for SPOT focus most of the time to get it to auto focus quickly -and or at all -sometimes, but not always. I set the camera to Manual Focus a lot of the time for good, clear photos. This lens also does NOT have a Lock switch, which irritates me a lot. Overall the lens does produce good photos. And I like the Macro photo results. I think I should have gone for the Sony lens.

[7 x 3.35 x 2.2"] I bought this for my CL for landscapes and architecture. I do not know if it has enough range for birding, but it is relatively light and compact for my purposes. Easy to handhold with outstanding image stabilization. The image stabilization will use up the CL battery quickly so have a spare ready. I use it with the shutter on electronic to avoid shutter slap. With modern cameras having the ability to shoot higher ISO, the aperture is wide enough. I had tested this versus the Sigma 100-400 and found this the better lens on a CL by far for me. 5

[7 x 3.35 x 2.2"] This lens is great on the SL2! Quite a bit smaller than the Sigma 100-400 which is also great IMHO! But for every day carry in a smallish ONA Rochester bag this is great! Very happy with image quality too! As a macro, it's also good, and give a pretty long working distance. Check out the photo. 5
