[9.7 x 7 x 0.7"] a lot of users have described good design choices as flaws. yes, the s-pen holder on the back is exposed, but adding a flap would have added to the weight of the case and detracted from its streamlined look. you can store the pen on the inside of the cover while traveling and it's absolutely secure there. you only need to keep the pen on the back to pair/charge it and that only takes 40 seconds. my concern was that the tablet was only held in place by a magnet, but that magnet is pretty strong so it feels secure. this case is attractive, convenient, lightweight, but also secure. that sounds like a good design to me. 5
