Power your camera continually, and without interruption, with the Tether Tools ONsite Relay Power Kit for Canon LP-E10 Camerasfrom Tether Tools. Equipped with a built-in 7.4V, 1,200mAh lithium battery and a 5 VDC input via USB, this system will provide power, while being connected to an external power source for a nearly constant source. When connected to a 2A USB battery pack or an AC adapter, the ONsite Relay can still be able to provide a constant supply of power to your camera, and thanks to the internal battery the system will support hot swapping of external power sources. An LED indicator light will shift from green to yellow to red to show battery percentage so that you will not accidentally lose power during a long time lapse or video production. This system is compatible with numerous camera systems through the use of a separately available coupler. This coupler fits into the battery compartment of your camera and acts as a dummy battery to supply power.

Q: 6. I have the Panasonic DMW-DCC12 and an Anker PowerCore 13000. Will this work with those two items to power my GH5? Can you tell me how long I could shoot video with the GH5 with that battery and the Case Relay?

A: I have two of these that I run on GH5 and GH5s's using the Anker 13,000mah pack. I have only tested it with the Tether Tools adapter, but it sounds like it should work with the Panasonic adapter equally from what I read. I actually ran full tests just this week. On the GH5s at 4K/30p/100mbps with the display screen open/on, I shut it off when the Case Relay was red but still running at 7 hours and 50 minutes! I also tried on the GH5 and was getting around 7 hours or so. I ran the GH5 with the Panasonic XLR adapter and two SM81 mic's on phantom power and it ran for 6 1/2 hours continuous.

Q: 7. Will this work to power my Canon R5 to replace the LP-E6NH battery?

A: The Tether Tools ONsite Relay Camera Power System Kit with Coupler for Canon Cameras with LP-E6 Battery can replace the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera's battery. This will allow you to power the camera with a USB battery pack.

Q: 8. Will this product work with name brand DC couplers? For example, I have the Panasonic DMW-DCC8 and DMW-DCC6 couplers for my FZ1000 and FZ80 respectively... will this product plug into these DC couplers, or would I need to buy the DC couplers made by Tether Tools?

[0.54 lb] I've just purchased a second Case Relay system as it is so good. I highly recommend this system as a rock solid way of powerering cameras for endless hours. I've recorded non stop 4K 100Mbps on my GH5 for over 10 hours and including in over 30 degrees C heat, and this system works perfectly. I've done this dozens of times and it always works. The camera sometimes shows full battery and sometimes shows 2 of 3 bars but never below that. I've used several power banks and two different phone chargers to power it, and hot swapping worked perfectly. Only one small cheap power bank refused to power it, but I wasn't surprised or disappointed. In between shoots I will sometimes power up the camera for a few minutes without providing a power source, and the internal battery in the Case Relay copes with the load and it doesn't lead to any bad consequences during the next day of shooting. If you do time lapse or long videos or just don't want the hassle of switching out batteries, I highly recommend this amazing gadget!

[0.54 lb] 07/30/2020 - 1 month of ownership - heavy use for timelapse. Never gets hot, provides continuous power, and doesn’t add to the bulk of my gear bag. This power solution is lightweight and trustworthy. The price point will be determined by years of use, and I plan to update my review to reflect this products durability. Here’s a tip...

Use a quality external battery source. I use Goal Zero. Cheap “power banks” you buy from a grocery store may not provide enough continuous power. I know this from experience and it goofed up a 6 hour TL.

[8 VDC, 2 A] I bought this to use for powering long duration time lapses in remote locations. I have several external batteries that have USB outputs that will power the Case for overnight or longer duration time lapses.
