A: It absolutely fits in all overhead space. It's international carry-on dimension, so definitely for all US domestic flights, and international. Even on small planes it fit for me. I use mine, generally, for my camera equipment. So when I bring it on the flight, it never leaves my side.

Q: 9. Will this fit the new intelligent 1580mAh battery?

A: It will, as the intelligent batteries are smaller overall. What I do is place them in on their side. It's not perfect but works just fine.
