Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where is this Boom manufactured?

A: This product is manufactured in China.

Q: 2. Is this able to hold the SureSM7B Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone, which weighs 1.69 lbs?

A: Yes, on just the vertical pole this will be able to hold an SM7B.

Q: 3. Can you attach a camera flash unit (i.e. Canon Speedlite) to perform off camera flash? If so, is an adapter needed?

A: Yes! You may just need the hotshoe attachment piece. I have a Yuongnuo speedlite that works great with it. Usually I'm attaching it with an umbrella or softbox to this light stand, but it works with the flash alone too!

Q: 4. I have an idea for using this as permanently mounted legs underneath an electronic effects case that I want elevated when I perform but compact for transporting. Does anyone know if when the legs are folded flat, it is a level surface? (I'm also looking at the Ultimate Support JS-MPS1)

A: The legs will fold flat, for easy transportation. The adjustable height of the legs allow for the stand to be made level on most surfaces.

Q: 5. Would this stand suffice for holding a 48 channel mixing console? I am considering it for a Soundcraft GB8-48, 75in wide.

A: I have a 90lb Yamaha S90es piano on mine. Similar size & weight as ur Soundcraft. I also use as stand for Allen & Heath GL2400/32ch mixing board. Hope this helps.

Q: 8. Is it possible to put this tripod on a dolly ? If yes what model would work best ?

A: Yes, you can use this tripod on a dolly. For example, you could use the Davis and Sanford W4DS.

Q: 9. Is the second tier removable or a permanent fixture ?

A: Yes, it unscrews in the back of each part.

Q: 10. Does this stand work with a Nord Grand 2 with 88 keys?

A: The On-Stage On-Stage KS7150 - Platform-Style Keyboard Stand could hold the Nord Grand 2, however, it would not be the most stable and will wobble due to the weight.

[41 x 20 x 5"] I've been using one of these stands for over 20 years on gigs every weekend, and it is still as stable as ever.No worries, no wobbles. I just bought a new one to use in my studio. I see a few design changes over the old one, but it is every bit as solid, stable and easy to use. If you play an 88-key keyboard, this the stand you need.

[19 lb] It's a heavy duty mic stand. Very heavy but useful when you are using a long shotgun mic.
