A: Hi Gerald. I don't have a Mac either. I did notice that on previous Quadros, they had Mac versions. I suggest you contact Apple and see what they say.

Q: 2. Does this product simply mirror one of the 6 sources to both displays? Or is it a true matrix, in that you can assign one source to the first display and a different source to the second display?

A: This is a true matrix switcher. It has 2 assignable and independent HDMI outputs.

Q: 3. Is the dial a full spectrum dial or increments? In other words, can it be set to 175 ms for example?

A: thank you for your email. The dial is full spectrum, the numbered settings are there as a guide.

Q: 4. I see that the HDMI still puts audio at the Sametime as the secondary audio outputs. My question is, Does the HDMI still output in 5.1 Dolby while simultaneously putting signal to analog Left and Right? My need is to have 5.1 through hdmi while sending rca L and R to my analog zone 2.

A: Yes, the specifications for HDMI protocol include LPCM 2.0, 5.1, 7.1, Dolby 5.1, DTS 5.1, DD+ Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Q: 5. Will this work in the Mac Pro 5,1 and if so, will it work in both Mojave and Catalina?

A: This card is not compatible with the Mac Pro 5,1

Q: 6. Please describe the audio delay feature, what is the granularity of the adjustments ?I need to add about 50ms of audio delay from HDMI in to HDMI out.

A: I do not think it has an audio delay feature. It would be nice if it did!

Q: 7. Our church sends HDMI signal to 4 screens with an HDMI matrix splitter over CAT5/6 HDMI extender. Would this be able to take the signal from the CAT5/6 - HDMI receiver then convert it to the BlackMagic Production Studio 4k resolution and keep it synchronized wherever the input change in the matrix?Does it convert to PAL - 576i standard? (for the time we still need SD resolutions)

A: According to the PDF Manual, available PAL settings include: EDID 1 - PAL Resolutions - 720 x 576p 4:3 & 720 x 576p 16:9, both 50 Hz. EDID 2 - PAL Resolutions - 720 x 576p 4:3 - 59.94 / 60 Hz. Yes we have it. No we don't use it. Why: Short Term expenditure. Very rudimentary device. Interface looks like Windows 3.0 and Non Upgradeable Firmware! The Native Resolution of Device: 1920 x 1080i 16:9, 50 Hz & 59.94 / 60 Hz. We used with an HDMI Powered Switch. Never tried to use it with BMD ATEM 4K. Why? Awkward space requirements. HDMI Cables are face mounted, not edge connected. Cannot Rack Mount unless mounted on Face of Rack. For the Money... & Long Term Investment: Look seriously at Decimator MD-HX Up / Down / Cross Converter or DataVideo DAC-70 Converter. We have and use the Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K. The Two aforementioned Converters work well with BMD gear. Hope this helps.

A: This de-embedder does not work with ARC.

A: I believe the answer is yes. I will tell you our scenario. The out to the extractor runs the video and audio to our projector. We are able to hear audio through our projector as well as the main sound system that the sound is extracted to. in essence, we have the option of listening to sound through the projector only or through the sound system only or both. Hope this information helps.

[Windows] This is a broadcast-style microphone (front address), but it is NOT a dynamic mic. It is actually a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a BIG sound. You get the absolute clarity and detail you'd expect from a small-diaphragm, but if you run it through a tube-based preamp (UA-610B for example), you also get a warm and full sound. To my ears, the clarity and detail are far superior to the SM7B or the RE20, and depending on your preamp, you can obtain that darker, rich sound of the SM7B (great for podcasting) or you can achieve sonic clarity (great for voiceovers). I personally run mine through a Cranborne EC1 preamp into the PreSonus Quantum 2626 interface and into the Studio One 5 Professional DAW. The EC1 can provide total sonic clarity or add a bit of mojo depending on your taste and needs. The only downside of this mic is that if you're looking for background noise rejection, you'd be better off with a dynamic mic (SM7B, RE20, etc.). This is a condenser mic and it shows in its sensitivity. If you have decent acoustic control over your space, I highly recommend the ETHOS for broadcast, podcasts, streaming, and voiceovers. 5

[Windows] I bought this product as another microphone for singing/podcast recording purposes. I've used Shure SM7B, which is legendary for many great reasons, but this microphone is my new favorite! I would highly recommend this mic to anyone who does voiceover, singing, and podcast work. It is pricey, but it definitely pays off! 5

[Windows] Compact and works great. We use both outputs at the same time, which is great that it is possible. One goes to a preview screen while the other goes to our video switcher. 5
