This black AViPAS Ceiling Mount Bracket for PTZ Cameras AV-1330, AV-1360, AV-1560from AViPAS Ceiling Mount Bracket for PTZ Cameras AV-1330, AV-1360, AV-1560enables mounting your AV-1343, AV-1360, or AV-1560 camera on the ceiling. The bracket comes in 2-pieces, one piece attaches directly to your ceiling, and the second piece mounts to the camera. This allows you to securely mount the bracket to the ceiling, and your camera to the bracket, before joining the two pieces. A hardware mounting kit that includes screws to the camera and mount connection is included.

A: Using the HDMI output of this camera you should expect little to no latency. It would be perfect for displaying the image live.

Q: 3. I have never used a PTZ camera before. Can I somehow connect a AViPAS AV-1081 HDMI PTZ Camera to this and to an ATEM Mini switcher (via HDMI), to use this as one of three cameras connected to the ATEM Mini?

A: Yes, the following unit will worked connected VIA RS-232 and connect to BlackMagic atem mini via HDMI.

Q: 4. is this hdmi 2.0 or mini hdmi?

A: The AViPAS AV-1081 HDMI PTZ Camera has a full HDMI port.

Q: 5. Does the zoom setting remain set when you turn the camera off and on or do you have to set the zoom every time you turn the camera on?

A: There are options for setting a zoom parameter and saving that on a controller.

Q: 6. How do I setup the ability to preview the other cameras? Will I need to get a black magic mini? Or can I connect a monitor to the controller?

A: Connect the AViPAS AV-3104IP 4D Joystick PTZ Controller BH #AV3104IP to a network switch which connects to all your cameras. The controller and PTZ camera must be connected within the same LAN. IP addresses need to be set at the same segment. For example: If your camera is set to 192.168.1.123, the keyboard should be set to 192.168.1.xxx. Keep the first 3 sections the same. The default setting of AV-3104IP controller is obtaining IP address dynamically.

Q: 7. Will this control the cameras using Ethernet?

A: Yes, it uses IP for control.

Q: 8. How do I set this up to control 2 AviPas 1081 PTZ cameras? Where do I find the appropriate cables?

A: AV-1081 only has one RS-232 interface. Using AV-3104 to control two AV-1081, you will need to add a "Y splitter" or a "RS232 port expander". Usually if a you want to use AV-3104 to control multiple cameras, we will suggest AV-1281 and the end camera can be an AV-1081. That would allow them to daisy chain the cameras. But then a special VISCA cable will be required between cameras.

Q: 9. Does this controller allow you to control or adjust the pan speed? It looks so mechanical when using the remote

A: Yes, the pan speed can be adjusted by twisting the "PTZ Speed" knob on the keyboard of the AViPAS AV-3104IP 4D Joystick PTZ Controller.

[1.75 lb] This camera is great! It is not one of the most feature rich, but to me it matched exactly what I needed, and paired with obs, a couple of obs plugins and an app called touchportal, I am now able to do complex scene transitions and even animations between this camera and a fixed wide-shot camera with the click of a button. If you will buy this, do take extra care with the lower-than-normal max zoom level and tilt extents (to me it was perfectly fine, but it may not be for you) 5

[1.75 lb] Its a bracket for the AViPAS cameras. The brackets can be inverted which adds some options to mounting configurations. To secure the cameras to the bracket, went to the hardware store and got a thumb screw for easy installation. 5

[1.75 lb] This worked perfect to mount our AV-1280. It doesn't come with screws but we had some. I actually used my iphone to make sure it was level and then attached the camera. Simple and easy. 5
