  • The CVM-WM100 features a single-channel receiver with multiple mounting options. Affix the receiver directly to a tripod, attach it to your subject via its belt clip, or use the supplied shoe-mount accessory to mount it on your camera, DSLR, or camcorder.
  • The high-resolution backlit LCD screen shows vital information such as battery status, audio level, channel selection, and more. Configuring the receiver is easy thanks to its simple three-button setup.
  • The CVM-WM100 includes two audio cables—one 3.5mm and one 3.5mm to XLR—for connecting the receiver's volume-adjustable 3.5mm line output to the input of your camera, DSLR, or camcorder. A separate 3.5mm port is provided for real-time monitoring through headphones.

  • The CVM-WM100 includes one bodypack transmitter and a lavalier microphone. The microphone's locking 3.5mm plug screws into place to prevent accidental disconnection.
  • By utilizing an omnidirectional polar pattern, the lav mic offers 360° sound pickup, which is more forgiving to your subject's head movements. Fit the supplied windbuster on the lav mic to significantly reduce noise from wind and rustling of clothes.
  • The transmitter also has a dedicated 3.5mm line input should you need to do a camera hop; route the output of a mixer or field recorder into the transmitter's line input to wirelessly stream the audio mix to the receiver.

  • Operating range up to 328' line-of-sight or up to 196' with obstruction
  • Transmitter and receiver each powered via two AA batteries (available separately)
  • 48 channels allow up to five simultaneous systems (additional systems available separately)
  • Utilizes the UHF FM band from 520.0 to 534.1 MHz
  • 16 levels of volume adjustment
  • Integrated low-cut filter to reduce rumble and low-frequency buildup
  • Seletable high/low transmitting power; use low-power mode to reduce power consumption when working at close range, or switch to high-power mode to improve signal quality when working at greater distances
  • Transmitter power button doubles as a mute switch (long press for power, short press for mute)
  • Compatible with recording to mobile devices using a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS cable (available separately)

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. With 2 transmitters going do you get a left and right isolated feed from receiver into camera?

A: Yes you will if your camera's input are left and right channels for stereo.

Q: 2. Can I use more than 1 hand help mic at the same time. If so, how many?

A: The CVM-WM100 PLUS Wireless System that the Comica Audio CVM-WM100 PLUS-HTX Wireless Cardioid Handheld Transmitter operates within specifies up to five wireless microphone transmitters in use is the same location at one time. Each transmitter requires its own receiver channel. The standard receiver in this system is a dual-channel receiver, so no less than three receivers would be required for five operational microphones.

Q: 3. Will this power a DPA 4060 lav mic?

A: The transmitter in this wireless system can accept and power a mic such as the DPA Microphones d:screet Core 4060 Miniature Omnidirectional Microphone with 1/8" Mini-Jack Connector (High-Sens, Black), BH #DP4060OCCB34.

Q: 4. How long do the battery's last in the 200? And other than the battery's, is there any major difference between the 200 & 300? I'm not finding any, but maybe I missed something... thanks.

A: 200 uses AA batteries where the 300 has internal rechargeable batteries. Only other difference I see is that the 300 also includes more accessories like the 1/8" to XLR output cable. The micro USB recharge port does beg the question if an external (cell phone) charging battery would work to extend the active life...

Q: 5. Do the two channels into the receiver come out of the receiver as separate channels?

A: It is switchable, so you can have one in each channel (mono) or stereo.

Q: 6. Can I use more than 1 hand held mic at a time, and if so, how many?

A: This Comica Audio CVM-WM100 PLUS-HTX Wireless Cardioid Handheld Transmitter (568 to 591 MHz) is intended for use with the the CVM-WM100 PLUS Wireless Receiver like the one included with the Comica Audio CVM-WM100 PLUS 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (B&H # COMWM100PLUS). We do not have the receiver available separately, but you can use two transmitters with the receiver in the CVM-WM100 PLUS System which can either be the wireless bodypack transmitters that are included with the system or the handheld CVM-WM100 PLUS HTX, or a combination of both.

Q: 7. How long do the battery's last in 200?

A: About to 3-5 hours.

Q: 8. Not clear from the two different answers given so far. Is it possible to have the two mics output separately as L and R audio channels?

A: Yes it is possible as It is switchable, so you can have one in each channel (mono) or stereo.

Q: 9. The XLR output cable in the picture only show one connector, is possible to have two sepparate XLR outputs to be recorded in two sepparate tracks on Zoom H6? That 3.5mm to dual XLR cable comes in the box?

A: That's because the receiver only has one output. It comes with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm and a 3.5mm to XLR.

Q: 10. What's the length of the mic cable?

A: The cable is just under 4' long.

[Analog UHF ] The Comica CVM -WM 100 Plus 2 is great value for money. Highly impressed with the audio quality, yes the build quality is light weight but works perfectly even after pushing the system to 80 meters for a 2 presenter set up. The added advantage is the ability to accept a line input from an external audio mixer. I got to record a number of programmes with same set of batteries, What a life saver. I would easily recommend this system to fellow producers. The wide range of channels to choose from are advantageous especially when other broadcasters were also on location. The great price, surprisingly good audio quality, super easy set up and the carrying case wins it for me over more expensive mic sets.

[Non-Diversity] I almost never write reviews, but this lav kit deserves one. I'm a commercial/ecomm/biz dp that does a ton of direct to camera stuff with clients and talent. I wanted a more lightweight option for location shoots, or if a client decided on set that they want two people on camera. This is a really nice solution there.

As a guy that literally wears out gear, durability is something I look for right off the bat. These bodies are full aluminum and come in a really nice Pelican-like case. I've used this setup on 4 very different shoots the past couple weeks, with absolutely zero dropouts or weirdness of any kind. Inside, outside, and even in a super congested outdoor location. Not one drop.

There's options out there with internal batteries...in a professional environment those are not as good as models like this that take replaceable batteries. If you're on set and one goes dead, I'd rather have the option of popping in fresh batts - as opposed to plugging it into a battery brick or charger for a few hours.

Anyways, I've used a handful of other lav systems and felt very lukewarm about them.
This set has every feature I was looking for, yet simple enough to pick up and be rolling in minutes the first time. Really a great bargain for a two transmitter kit. Highly recommend!

[Lavalier] The Comica Audio CVM-WM100 PLUS microphone system was the perfect addition to my audio video equipment. As a beginner wedding videographer, this solved my concerns with getting clear sound for multiple people. Very easy to operate along with a favorable price point for my budget, I am definitely going to recommend this product to others.

[Analog UHF ] We do outdoor video usually out in the woods. Well the last wireless Mike set we had was good but had some drawbacks. The Sampson used 9 volt batteries and the clips inside the receiver and transmitter would break off and had to be repaired to be used. I am very hard on equipment especially that attached to my person. Well the wireless Mike was lost in quicksand. Yes, quicksand So I found this one on line. I liked the fact that it used AA BATTERIES. It also has adapters for different inputs. Used it on the quicksand video and it worked great.

[100 dB SPL] I bought this at the same time I bought the Tascam DR-60DmkII. I wish I could remember the name of the salesperson who helped me because he did a terrific job in guiding me towards these two products.
I come from a professional television background, Im a retired Director of Photography/Director. While I didnt do audio I knew the mics we used cost at least $600 dollars each, some touching 2K. This wireless lav cost me $189! I wasnt expecting too much and was more than pleasantly surprised on my first test playback. The sound is excellent. $600 dollar excellent? No - but close enough. Sound is smooth and clear and with 48 channels to choose from I doubt interference will ever be an issue. This is an excellent value and you get more that you have a right to expect in this price range. Highly recommended. Thanks, B&H!

[Battery] Our summer youth media camp is on a limited budget. We could not afford the $600wireless microphones recommended by one of our teachers. This recommendation from our BandH rep is working great! We used the mikes during a recent on-set shoot.
