Version 2 of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0 Quadcopterincludes all the same great features as the original Phantom 4 Pro+ and boasts several enhancements including improved resolution for on-controller live-view streaming, enhanced connectivity, reduced propeller noise, and more. Like the original, the Phantom 4 Pro+ Version 2 features a 3-axis-stabilized gimbal camera with a 20MP 1" CMOS sensor capable of shooting up to 4K60 fps video and photo bursts at up to 14 fps. It also utilizes the FlightAutonomy system which includes dual rear-vision sensors and infrared sensing for a total of five directions of obstacle sensing and four directions of obstacle avoidance. Instead of Lightbridge, the Phantom 4 Pro+ Version 2 now uses Ocusync, which enables improved live video stream performance. Other notable enhancements include lighter props and reduced overall takeoff weight, wireless integration with DJI Goggles, and bolstered transmission power. Like the original Phantom 4 Pro+, Version 2 comes with a controller that features an integrated 1080p display.

[GPS, GLONASS] I have actually moved away from my Inspire to this little thing for my professional shoots. Why? well because it has the larger 1 sensor and it just keeps on flying no matter the weather. Seriously, it flies better than the Inspire with an added bonus of looking like a toy. When I pull out the Inspire people look a little worried since it is so big, whip out a Phantom and they are suddenly interested and want to know if it's fun to fly... A much better attitude to work around. And the end results still blow their socks off. 5

[4 S / 17.4 V] I received the drone amazingly fast. I Just took it for its maiden flight, and everything went just as expected. Not sure why DJI is out of stock for this model because the Phantom 4 is a workhorse. 5

[GPS, GLONASS] First drone. 1" sensor. Good glass. Great 20mp photos and 4k 60fps video. Easy to operate. The case that comes with works well for drone and three batteries (2 extra batteries - buy them instead of a case you don't need). The iPad 2018 version 9.7 slides into the remote perfectly and has enough processing power for a very good experience. DJI software as well as Litchi. This setup is comparable in cost to a good lens. If you think of it that way it's a no brainer now that the 4 Pro 2 has a 1" sensor. 5

[30 Minutes] I sent back the Pro+ Version 2.0 because it was not ready for prime time. It had bugs in the firmware for the built in display and a defective Mini SD card reader. Not to worry, I replaced that with this, bought an iPad Mini and not looking back. The 4k video imaging I am getting from this is rock solid, even in breezy conditions, and it is quiet for a quad copter. It is not perfect of course but for the money it is a great investment for the professional photographer and drone enthusiast. This unit would also work well for Aerial Survey work. The weak spot, of course, is the battery. They are expensive, and take a long time to charge, but I can live with that. Plan on 1GB of file size per minute of video when shooting 4k. Video duration is limited to 30 minutes, which is the same as most modern DSLR's with video capability so that was no surprise to me. Invest in a good set of ND filters, learn the rules for flying drones and be happy. For the price point I am not sure there is a better aerial imaging platform. Fly Safe. 5
