This full cage adjusts height and width-wise, offering compatibility with select Canon and Nikon DSLRs. Constructed from durable aluminum, the cage consists of a top cheese plate, a camera plate, two side cheese plate rods, and two pairs of horizontal arms.

The 1584 VersaFrame Cage firmly attaches to your camera using both a camera plate with a 1/4"-20 screw and a hot shoe connector. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes along the top, side, and bottom enable you to mount a variety of camera accessories on the cage.

[Cage] Exceptional product. You CAN access the battery by moving the hinged frame member which flips out of the way to access the battery / SD. There is no need to remove the case to access them. This is a high-quality cage for Nikon Z30 5

[Dual Handgrips] Purchased for macro,allows me to hang camera close to the ground with flash trigger mounted in the upright position. Attached a small arca plate on top of cage to the extreme right. Using camera in inverted position drove me nuts. Was also my sole purpose of Z30 since in most macro shots I only can use the lcd flipper screen. 5

[Cage] Required accessory for Z30. About battery/card door problem. Little bit difficult access to change card (Battery changing is much easier). But in my case my fingers are thin, and I do it with slight delay. With big fingers it will be hard and maybe impossible. 5

[Dual Handgrips] I've used this on Canon 5d and Sony A7s series cameras for 8 years as well as other models. Great thing is as you move from camera to camera, you don't have to keep buying new cages and throwing out the old ones which only worked for 1 model. Because the pieces are all separate you can optimize the configuration for your camera and how you use it. I use this cage with follow focuses and have had no real issues with slippage despite lack of anti-twist pins on most cameras . I mount Atomos and SmallHD monitors, shotgun mics, indipro LPE6 dual battery holders, and HDMI locks. Rock solid. Small Rig has a full range of accessories. Enough 3'8 and 1/420 holes so that there is never really an issue with attachments getting blocked. You can get taller or shorter cheese rods to adjust to your camera height also. Also great for hand held shots. 5
