Designed for data centers and other electrically demanding applications, the CyberPower PDU20BHVIEC10R Basic PDUfrom CyberPower PDU20BHVIEC10R Basic PDUprovides an output of 200-230V at 20A (derated to 16A). It distributes that power to 10 IEC-320 C13 outlets (rear) from a single 10' IEC-320 C20 plug with unfiltered electrical passthrough. The PDU20BHVIEC10R has a rugged, industrial-grade metal housing and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. It is ETL/RoHS certified and includes a cord retention tray, a screw kit, a cord clip kit, horizontal mounting brackets, and vertical mounting brackets. Protection is provided by a limited lifetime warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.

Q: 1. Is the power light suppose to stay lit all of the time? My power light is off most of the time, but occasionally flickers on/off. Does this mean the battery is low?

A: Yes, the power light should be on if the UPS is on.

Q: 2. How often does the battery need to be replaced?

A: Cyberpower does not provide that information as it can vary. UPS batteries require replacement when no longer capable and if the UPS is called upon more often than normal to keep devices powered, the battery will be spent faster.

Q: 3. I have 220V, so is a different versin available? Or do you need a transformer

A: This unit doesn't support 220V and we don't have a transformer that will work with this UPS.

Q: 4. Says takes 2 12 volt batteries? Hard to believe. Can't find a small 12 v battery that would fit.

A: Yes, the CyberPower AVR Series CP900AVR UPS, B&H # CYP900AV, does take two 12V batteries. The specific battery that is listed on CyberPower's website for this unit is not currently for sale at B&H: https://bit.ly/3UrEbwh.

Q: 5. What are the dimensions of the cart when closed up?

A: The closed dimensions for the Switchblade Systems Switchblade MPC Base Kit with 4K Monitor, Drawer, and PDU (B&H # SWBSMPCBK) are not published.

Q: 6. Does this software work with Mac computers?

A: Hi David,Reiko and Robert are both right and our software is compatible with Mac computers.

Q: 7. Can I connect a three outlet 50 foot extension cord into a single surge+battery outlet on the UPS as I have 2-3 other devices too far away from where the UPS will be placed. The devices are a cable modem, WiFi router and Netgear router?

A: In order for the UPS to work as intended, it is not recommended to use any type of extension cord or to share outlets with more than 1 device.

Q: 8. This unit is rated at 1000W. Is this based on plugging devices into all receptacles or just the battery and the surge receptacles?

A: That unit is capable of a 1000w peak draw.

Q: 9. I noticed since plugging my iMac into this, it's shut off unexpectedly twice. Why is this all of a sudden happening and is it because of the battery? It never did it before.

[0 to 95% ()] Got this PDU to upgrade a Bretford computer cart that had only three outlets to move a Dell Precision workstation + 32 4K monitor around the campus. You can never have enough outlets for all your peripherals and this PDU provides plenty. Best part are the two front outlets (though spacing them wider would be nice), wish this was a more common feature in PDUs. The flexible mounting options are a plus (comes with two pairs of mounting tabs - one for flush mount, the other for recessed/elevated mounting). Also appreciate having a dedicated grounding post to allow bonding the entire cart (or server rack) to ground. Minor issue, the six holes on the ends of the PDU for the mounting tabs are not symmetrical/equally spaced, so it makes installing the tabs slightly more complicated than it could be. Not sure if I'll use the cord retention bar which has slots for zip-tying each cord (zip-ties are included), but the bar easily attaches with four small screws and can be adjusted up or down. CyberPower does commit one of my pet peeves - using two different screw sizes (one for the mounting tabs, another for the retention bar) for user-assembled parts when just one size screw would not significantly increase the cost of manufacturing the product as this simplify things for the end user (especially if you end up loosing a screw). 5

[0 to 95% ()] When you have the good stuff, don't go messing with aftermarket add-ons. This is the precise part that I bought with my Symetra unit 5 years ago. Plug it in, flick the switch and go. This was also the best price I could find for this product. 5

[10' / 3 m] this product is absolutely perfect for wanting to power cycle something at a remote location. You can set it to power cycle plugs on a schedule, you can set it to ping any IP address and power cycle a plug anytime it stops responding AND you can customize each button so you can remember what is plugged into each outlet. Great item!!!! 5

[Metal] It works as advertised. I get random power outages in my city where the power goes out for like 1 second and comes right back on. Well, it damaged my surround sounds and tv, both of which stopped working a month apart from each other. I have a suspicion that it was due to the power outage. So I got this item and it took care of that problem and I feel good that my very expensive new tv and new surround sounds are protected. I do recommend this product, price point is really good. 5
