Q: 1. I see that the module protrude out, wondering if it's compatible with the B1 Tilta cage

A: While you may be able to attach the Teradek RT ACI Module for RED DSMC2 (B&H# TE101322) to the Tilta Camera Cage B1 for RED DSMC2 Camera (V-Mount) (B&H# TIESRT01B1V), some may find doing so non intuitive and indeed the manufacturer has not suggested that it fits. It will not satisfy all camera operators, but it may fit to the satisfaction of some. The main issue is the attachment method, something a reviewer has commented on.

Q: 2. Will the MDR be compatible with the Teradek TOF.1?

A: As of 12/09/2020, the ToF.1 is compatible with the Teradek RT MDR.X, CTRL.1 and CTRL.3.

Q: 3. Could this allow operator to have iris control while a CTRL.1 controls focus paired with a Latitude with a breakout cable?

A: Teradek says that this setup will work if you're using it with Canon EF Lenses via RED cameras. The CTRL.1 can be set to control the focus axis while the thumbwheel can be configured to have the Iris axis control.

Q: 4. If this has a maximum torque of 1.2nm, does that mean it's less responsive than the mk3.1 and motr.x?

A: Yes, the Teradek RT MOTR.S Max Lens Motor does have less torque than the MK3.1 and MOTR.X. However, the tradeoff is that this is faster.

Q: 5. Does this work with the Teradek CTRL.3 Motor Wireless Lens Control Deluxe 1-Motor Kit's Latitude MDR-X?

A: Yes, the 5-pin wired connection can be used with RT CTRL.3 Three Axis Wireless Lens Controller in wired mode.

A: I'm sorry, no, it is only compatible with the 858.

A: this requires the Teradek RT MK3.1 Motor Cable, the cable is NOT included

A: As far as we know the Teradek RT Thumbwheel S Standard Wired Controller only works with Latitude or MK3.1 systems.

[1.53 lb] I’ve been looking at this cable since it was announced, very curious on how the mdrx and cinetape integration works. It’s also very unclear to which version or models of cinetape it has to be, is it Cinematography Electronics, cinebug or Arri so to answer some questions. This works with the C. E. Cinetape original and cinetape 2 although still unclear about the other models it works with the original cinetape makers. This is a direct connection from the mdrx aux 1 port into the cinetape’s remote port. It’s very easy to set up and depending on the condition of your cinetape works extremely well and awesome paired with the ctrl 1 or 3 hand units and small hd monitors. 5

[8.8 x 6.8 x 5"] Red chose a very tiny lemonier port, so the cable is very thin and needs some care to avoid damage. considering the realities, Teradek did a good job. 5

[8.8 oz / 250 g] Used it with the V-mount/IO expansion module and it worked as expected. You'll need to set the RTMotion controller to the ARRI trigger mode with this configuration. 5

[8.8 oz / 250 g] I had my cable go bad a week ago and I ordered a new one and it worked perfectly. Always double check that it works as sometimes the different Teradek cables I've bought didn't work right out of the box. Anytime I've had that issue B&H replaced the damaged item quickly. 5
