[Twist Lock] I shoot real estate photography and bought this to pair with the Manfrotto 475B Pro tripod legs. I just upgraded from the Manfrotto 055, and I already know the 475B + Leofoto tripod arm and I are going to be fast friends.


I bought the Leofoto tripod arm for the rare occasion that an agent wants a vertical shot. The 475B's center column doesn't tilt to 90 degrees, and I decided that what the 475B offered in comparison to the 055 was significant enough that I shopped for a go between. So far, the Leofoto tripod arm delivers as advertised. It's just as beefy and sleek in person as pictured - yet lightweight - and in my line of work, appearance of equipment = confidence in skills when they haven't seen my photos yet.


Though I've only played with the new setup so far, I already know it's going to be fast and simple to change out when a client wants a vertical shot.


Not only does it look super sleek and feels great, it's exactly what I needed to pair with my new tripod. I'm done with the 90degree tilt center column! I bought this new setup because the center column on the 055 was getting wobbly and was such a pain to level the camera whenever I raised it to shoot kitchens and exteriors. (Shooting with a Canon 5D Mark IV.)

[3 Positions] Solid, easy to adjust, lightweight and attractive. What more do I need in a tripod? I already had a head for it — a Manfrotto MH494-BH ball head that I love. I saved it from my previous aluminum Manfrotto tripod. I'm a fan!

[7.39 lb] Perfect travel companion as a carry-on. I have these other Manfrotto carbon fiber model MT057C4-G and MT055CXPRO4. The former is a bit more robust yet heavier and perfect when connecting other accessories to my tripod setup while the latter falls short of the 190go and is now relegated to being used as a spare because I prefer these turn-lock mechanism for length adjustment over the clip locks which frequently snag and hurt when your fingers get caught! Just keep in mind that this is a little thinner/smaller than the MT055CXPRO4 but if you need sturdiness then might as well go with the MT057C4-G

It’s extremely difficult finding a tandem leg tripod that is lightweight and folds up to fit in my pelican case for travel. With this Leofoto tripod I can travel with 3 tripods and tripod heads in one case without being close to going overweight. I bought one to check it out and will be buying more for my multi camera set up. 10/10 would recommend

[Twist Lock] This tripod was on my wish list and when I saw it on sale it was time to buy it. I really like the Easy Link attachment feature. I use that to hold my phone when connected to the camera, eliminates the need for an additional tripod. It is also short enough to fit in a hard travel case.
