[PCIe] I bought it as the audio on my motherboard stopped working. I'm not an audiophile by any means so I haven't noticed any quality improvement but it really gets the job and that's all I wanted. There are cheaper alternatives out there though so I cannot guarantee that the price premium is justified. 5

[0.85 lb] Tardó una semana más, de lo esperado, en llegar, pero todo salió perfecto al final, llegó hasta mi domicilio y cuando tuve necesidad de comunicarme, en español, con b&h recibí una buena atención. La tarjeta ya la tengo instalada, con sus drivers actualizados en Windows 10, para juegos funcionan bien los 5.1 canales. Hace lo que promete, sí tiene una buena preamplificacion a la salida, pero toda la configuración la deja en manos del SO, en las utilidades sólo puedes asignar los puertos como entrada o salida, ajustar volumen y habilitar o deshabilitar características. La uso en un servidor que utilizo como PC de escritorio, cuya motherboard no incluye puertos de audio, pero sí tiene 3 slots pci-e. Gracias. 5

[5.1] More than a week since a new build and installing this to replace onboard sound. Very satisfied with installation. Painless. Sound output is quite noticeably better. Clearer high notes on music tracks; better bass range. Games have a 'fuller' sound to them. Haven't pushed this to it's limitations, but likely won't as I get all of the sound manipulation my games require already. I had forgotten how much more robust add-in sound cards could be than the onboards. 5
