A: the 20mm is a pancake lens and is older. The 25mm has better auto focus and is much faster. However I have noticed some small lens flares when taking shots of buildings/sky they show up as darker circles due to the coating on the lens but can easily be fixed in photoshop. When i first started seeing these spots I thought my lens had issues, but it is not in every picture.
