Overall the bag is great, I don't think it's 5 stars though, but should round up not down. Mainly I needed a backpack that can handle a families worth of travel stuff (jackets, water, snacks) and easy camera access. This bag with the small camera cube works great for that. It carries well, good organization, it's expandable, fold away hip belt is great, and I can fit a Nikon z6 and 2 lenses easy access in the camera cube through the side. The bad is the "collapsible" top section. It's nice to have, and with the top collapsed it fits under an airplane seat (at least sun country). Tue snaps disengage with any pressure though, so it works, but not really that well. It would also make camera access easier if the side zippers also ran from the bottom, but it's also a little more secure this way. 5

Endless reviews on YouTube, some useful, some not, but on the whole the momentum is all-for the Peak Design 45L Travel Backpack. With some use the PD 45L is clearly well made, functional, and meeting all goals for 1-bag travel. 5

Was looking for a travel backpack that would fit my onebagger needs, and this was truly phenomenal. Truck load of space, with more than adequate compartments. My only gripe is the sternum strap, which is a bit gimmicky in my opinion. It's also a tad on the heavy side, but I won't be running up mountains in this so that's fine by me. 5

So many features, so well designed, quality construction. 6 weeks of constant travel and it still looks new (did not check it on planes). Backside handle to slip over wheeled bag extender would not fit over bulky handle on my Dakine wheeled duffel. Other than that, perfect and I am a picky person on such. 5

Bought this to avoid checked baggage on a trip with several flights. Impressively made. High quality. Just enough separate storage spaces so you know where things are, without being overwhelming. 5
