Use the Anton Bauer Dionic XT90 Battery Kit with Tandem-70 Chargerto power your Gold mount camera or other pro video gear. The lightweight lithium-ion chemistry can provide up to 12 amps of current on a continuous draw and support peaks of up to 20 amps for two seconds. At the side of the chassis, a backlit LCD has battery capacity information so you know when you'll have to swap out one battery for a fresh one. Using the P-Tap and USB ports, you can power essential accessories on your rig or other small electronics.

A: In order to charge, you will need the charger attached to the camera.

A: No, the Gold Mount plate won't fit on your FX9 properly. You have to use a Gold Mount plate designed for the FX9, not the FS7. Anton/Bauer makes a "Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount for Sony FX9" (BH #ANSFX9GMBSP).

A: The charger is sold separately. In the accessories on this item, we have a few different charger options that would work with this.

Q: 5. How long will this battery last to power an Arri Alexa Classic EV camera?

A: This is a 99Wh battery. While it will vary depending on how you use a camera, our research tells us that a camera like that may have around an 85 watt draw. You would be looking at around an hour with a battery like this.

Q: 6. How long will this battery power a Sony FS7 M2K?

A: Depending upon level of operation (i.e. how much zooming, other adjustments, and format of recording), you should be able to count on 3 solid hours, if not a little more.

Q: 7. Would these be more ideal than the XT 150 for use with Arri Cine Cameras?

A: If you prefer a smaller, lighter battery than the XT150 but are willing to sacrifice longer battery life, then the XT90 would be suitable.

A: We're afraid not. This kit has space for an older style 2 battery flat Anton Bauer D-2722 charger. That larger, standing 4 battery charger will not fit.

Q: 10. Does this 26V LP4 have the software optimized charge and wifi integration?

A: The Anton/Bauer Dionic 26V LP4 Quad Gold Mount Plus Charger's software is optimized for charging, but the charger does not have Wi-Fi support.

[12 A] These are my go to batteries. They pack a punch and will power a SmallHD 702 bright for 6 hours on a steadicam. The USB outlet comes in handy for so many purposes. I can charge/power an Ambient ACN-CL Lockit on camera or power a small USB 5V portable fan for those really hot days. The Dtap lets me power a Litepanels brick on location for hours. Don't need to say much about Anton Bauer Quality and performance. If you have been in the business for a while you already know. 5

[14.4 VDC] Having a power supply with your camera is a necessity in long interviews, but having one that is very light, small, and able to be tucked in your camera bag so that it is with you at all times is a major plus. This one won't be tripped over, nor will you forget to flip it back to charge like stand-alone Anton - Bauer chargers that most people use as a power supply, instead of buying a separate unit. BUT - the Tandem 70 is also a charger. Every time you turn off your camera with an Anton Bauer gold mount battery attached - it automatically switches to charging the battery. I know it works well with my Hytron 140's - but I have not tried nor read the specs to see if it also charges Dionics... The bottom line - don't be a fool - pick one up now. We are all short handed on crews these days, and instead of - I don't need to bring a power supply because this interview will be short, and my power supply is just too bulky - it is always with you when you need it. Mine is always in the side pouch of my Porta Brace bag, goes on the plane with me... And actually reduces the number of bricks I have to take with me when I travel, for down time during interviews is charge time for my Hytrons... 5
