The Freewell ND16 Filter DJI Pocket 2 Osmo Pocket 4-Stopallows you to capture clearer and more accurate outdoor images with your gimbal. The ND16 filter cuts light hitting the camera sensor by 4 f-stops to adjust for normal daylight conditions. This reduction also lets you get creative by letting you use larger apertures or longer shutter speeds, which is why the filter is especially useful for long-exposure photography. The filter's optical glass is multicoated on both sides to allow for optimal image quality.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it work with original Osmo Pocket 1?

A: The the DJI Accessory Mount for Pocket 2 & Osmo Pocket will work for the original Osmo Pocket.

Q: 2. Will the lens filters still attach if I put on a thin glass screen protector onto the camera lens?

A: Putting a thin lens protector on the Osmo Pocket 3 could prevent the Freewell Mega Filter Kit for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (14-Pack) or other filters from mounting fully. I would not recommend using a glass screen protector on the camera lens, as it may not be using optical-grade glass and could cause distortions or have an impact on image quality.

Q: 3. Will this be compatible with the Peak Design POV Capture Mount? By the looks of it, the prongs are on the wrong side of the gimbal, just like on the Removue S-1.

A: While it will physically connect, we are not sure about how well it will sit when used with the POV Capture Mount. This is something you would need to test out to see the results.

Q: 4. Can this be charged while not connected to the Osmo 3 body? So a spare could be charging while another is in use.

A: Yes. The DJI Battery Handle for Osmo Pocket 3 can be charged without the OSMO Pocket 3. To charge the DJI Battery Handle, connect the handle to a USB-C power source. It is recommended to use the DJI 65W portable charger or DJI 30W USB-C charger to charge the battery handle.

Q: 5. Are there any trusted glass or plastic screen protectors that are made to protect the lens on the gimbal? Does it scratch easily?

A: Freewell Mega Filter Kit for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (14-Pack) can be used to protect the lens of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. The lens of the Osmo should not scratch easily so long as you take good care of it.

Q: 6. If I am using an iPhone, for example, would I use a USBc-to-lightning cable from the bottom of the osmo to my phone? Or a lightning extension cable from the osmo smart phone adapter to my phone? Will this preclude the use of an external mic?

A: If connecting your phone, you can connect wirelessly by adding the wireless module or you will connect the the osmo pocket directly to your smartphone via lightning to USB-C cable. When using this extension rod, you will not have access to use a microphone input.

Q: 7. Is this filter magnetic design ?

A: Yes, the PolarPro Circular Polarizer Filter for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 uses a magnetic mount.

Q: 8. Hello are these filters small enough so they can stay on the lens after the osmo is turned off?

A: Unfortunately, when turned off, the filters in the Freewell Variable ND 2-Filter Set for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 are not small enough to allow the Pocket 3 access to its native off position.

Q: 9. Can I use my phone in portrait mode with this product?

A: Unfortunately no. When using the DJI Extension Rod for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket, the phone clamp will not support portrait orientation.

Q: 10. Will the Osmo Pocket 3 close fully while this filter is attached?

A: No, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 will not full close with the PolarPro Circular Polarizer Filter for DJI Osmo Pocket 3 attached. It will need to be removed before closing.

[1.8 oz / 50 g] This is a great filter if you are going to be filming a lot on bright sunny days where their are no shady areas. It will help reduce the bright glare, really well! For shady area, an ND32 filter might be more useful.

[1.8 oz / 50 g] I recently purchased the Freewell ND32 Filter for DJI Pocket 2 & Osmo Pocket (5-Stop) after I accidentally lost my DJI Pocket 2 camera, memory card, and ND filter in the sea. I bought new camera and Now, I have two DJI ND filters and two Freewell filters. Ideally, it's better to have filters from the same manufacturer, as there is a slight color difference between them.

The Freewell filter is of good quality and comes in a separate storage box that can hold up to four filters. A cleaning cloth is also included in the package. The filter offers excellent quality, with a minor color cast compared to the original DJI filter, but it's worth noting that the DJI filter has its own color tint. Overall, I am satisfied with the Freewell ND32 Filter and appreciate its contribution to my photography setup.

[0.15 lb] I purchased the Freewell ND64 filter as an addition to my DJI filters. It's impossible to buy DJI filters individually, and the ND64 filter wasn't included in the DJI set, so I decided to go for the Freewell. The filter came in a box that can hold up to 4 filters, but I prefer to use the original magnetic DJI box. The filter has a slight color shift compared to the DJI filters, but it's not critical. Of course, it would be ideal to have all the filters in the same style to avoid guessing which one was used during post-processing. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase!
