The battery switches automatically depending on the voltage of the plate that it is attached to. If the battery detects a higher voltage plate, it will adjust accordingly to the higher voltage. The default will be 14V, which is supported on the Sony PXW-FX9 XDCAM 6K Full-Frame Camera System (B&H # SOPXWFX9). The battery will switch to 28V when mounted on a camera that's supports that voltage.
