Nothing will match the outside sunlight but this really helps. Another review talked about the buttons being hard to push. I have found I just use the side of my nail. The more you use it the better it will work for you. The lights also came with some really nice connectors and an extension to separate the light from the camera. All in all this is a class light from a very good company.

I just purchased my second one of these so I can put it down the hall or in a dark room.

If you shoot 360 panoramas you will really like this as your ISO will be lower and it takes out the muddy shadows.

[0.27 lb] This light is spectacular. I wish I could give it 4.99 stars because it's almost perfect. The build is solid. Love that it has 3 CCT options and 5 brightness levels. There are only 2 minor things I'd add to this light to make it perfect. 1) A battery level indicator. So far I haven't found any indication showing the remaining battery level. 2) The USB cable end covers the light's buttons. The USB A connector on the cable provided has a 90 angle that needs to go the other way so that it doesn't cover up the buttons on the light. Of course these are minor issues. Other than that this light is a fantastic design.

[0.27 lb] The QF29 bracket for the Omicron ring light from Quantum is a BIG improvement over the original bracket. The old bracket was less rigid and difficult to adjust for tall cameras, with battery grip or Quantum Turbo Blade battery. The new box structure provides the rigidity, and the ring light arm is simply turned over for tall camera setups. The new bracket is also more comfortable for hand-holding. Good investment.
