Also, The AJA driver does support multiple units on one computer. Two units shouldn't be a problem, the restriction is the data bandwidth of Thunderbolt which is 40Gb/s.

A: Unfortunately it is not just a question of whether or not the AJA Io 4K Plus Professional Video I/O for Thunderbolt 3 (B&H# AJIO4KPLUS) will extract clip name data, but rather whether such data would be passed through by the driver and also recognized by the NLE. While some data (such as the HDR flag) is specifically preserved and more broadly supported (because it's associated directly with HDMI protocols), less common RED clip name data may not be captured by some drivers, software, and other devices. A: I am sorry but two separate systems will be required to record two CIONs RAW output. A single laptop cannot handle the signal processing and disk write requirements of such a set up.
