The Elvid FieldVision 8.9" LCD HDMI/SDI Monitoris a lightweight monitor that features loop-through 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs, supporting up to 1920 x 1080p60 input video over SDI, as well as 4K DCI and UHD 4K over HDMI. The IPS LCD panel features a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m2 with a contrast ratio of 800:1, providing a clear bright image that can be viewed from off-axis without color or contrast shifts. The 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs are loop-through, so what you send into the monitor comes out unchanged. The inputs do not support cross conversion.

The display features an NTSC color gamut. To view log footage without it looking flat, the monitor supports built-in S-Log LUTs, and you can upload and store up to six viewing LUTs via the USB port. Focus peaking, false color, and zebra bars are available via the easy-to-navigate menu system. Programmable function buttons located on top of the monitor let you create shortcuts to the most frequently used tools. The monitor powers from the included AC power supply, or from an optional L-series battery that slides into the integrated L-series battery plate. The back of the monitor features 75 x 75mm threaded mounting holes that accept either a VESA monitor mount (not included) or the included adapter plate that allows you to mount an optional V-mount battery plate to power the monitor. An included sun hood protects your monitor from glare when used on bright exteriors.

[35 ms] I use this with a glide gear tmp100 teleprompter and it works perfectly. It's the perfect not too big not too small size. I actually connect it to HDMI and use it for Zoom calls to keep my eye contact with everyone on screen which works great. It also works great to throw a word doc up and scroll with my mouse down by my side while I read off it too! It's brightness adjustment and ability to flip orientation make it so easy and seamless to use. Only wish I could change the menu orientation too as it only comes up in one direction

[10 W (Maximum)] I was surprised and not so surprised being that I used and older model of this brand before. This is a great looking monitor And I'v used Sony professional video monitors with price ranges of $5000.00. I work at a T.V. station and when I showed up with this monitor my direct supervisor ask me to write down the model number.

[75 x 75 mm] This appears to be the same monitor case as the Lilliput A8S without the SDI connectors (although the case has the punch-outs for them). I don't know about the circuitry but I'm sure the firmware is a little different. Certainly the splash screen is, as it says Elvid instead of Field Monitor upon power up. That said, I also have an A8S and the picture looks so close on both of them that one could mistake either for the other if based only on image quality.
I have not yet attempted to load any LUTs to it but I have read that others didn't have all the issues known to occur with the Lilliput version. Yet another indication that the Elvid has different, and perhaps better firmware and/or innards?

It has a default/native res of 1920x1200 and does a decent job of scaling. I use this as a second monitor on a streaming production PC and as a field monitor and in the 2-3 weeks I've had it, it's been reliable and held a great picture.

While one could argue a difference in time savings, I personally like the hood being attached with the included thumbscrews rather than Velcro. The screws are more secure and it also means the ingenious design of having tripod mounts on all sides - I mount mine in the studio using one of the side mount points. I love that!

It's a great monitor for the price, and the extras that come with it; while some may deem necessary, it's nice to get them included instead of having to source them separately.
At any rate, currently I feel comfortable recommending it to anyone looking for a 9 field monitor on a small-to-medium sized company budget.
