[Plastic] Works great. Cuts down on glare with no color shift to the image. Too expensive. The standard locking screen protector that comes with the unit is good too. 5

[0.935 lb] Usually operating Cine 5 with hood, but when it comes needs to come off, this a smart thing to have. Larger version saved my 702 Touch, so cheap insurance for beloved and pricey on-cam monitors. 5

[0.935 lb] This screen protector installs quickly and easily without the need for special tools. The Focus 7 is a decent monitor. Though billed as “daylight viewable”, that only goes so far (in Key West in the middle of summer, not so much). The screen is very reflective and that can cause viewing issues even on set in a controlled environment. Same with the screen protector that ships with the monitor. The matte finish on this protector effectively eliminates any glare/reflections and makes the monitor MUCH easier to see. I wish I’d picked up one of these sooner. 5

[0.935 lb] I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this UltraClear protector is actually tempered glass! I was expecting it to be a clear version of SmallHD's Ultra Matte version which is a thin plastic. This glass protector was much better, sizing was good with a slightly larger margin for error than the Ultra Matte. It installed without any drama and looks absolutely invisible now. 5

[Plastic] I looked at my monitor on set yesterday and realized in dismay that it had been totally cracked! But when I turned it on, it worked totally fine. Then I remember that I had put this screen protector on it a year ago and forgot about it. Pulled it off, and it seems that it had completely protected the screen from any damage! Going to buy another one right now. 5
