[3.045 lb] I’ve used a few different brands, 120 carriers/holders (?), but this one really does a good job of a) keeping it higher from the light so that I don’t see the texture of the LED panel in the photos and b) keeps that film very flat.

[3.045 lb] I considered the 'essential film holder' but that is almost twice the cost and takes a while to ship. This works great! Yes, 3d printed, so it can have small imperfections. I sent one back, but got another one that was fine.

[Aluminum] I've used this kit for a few months now with no issues. I use a small mirrorless camera (Fuji X Pro2) to scan and the riser is more than adequate. I like the camera attachment method so I can actually tighten the camera down tight so it won't swivel or rotate on the screw. The Light Source 35 was super bright and even. I've recently upgraded only because I wanted to scan 120 film too.
