A: I have not tried with a GoPro and suction mount only a 5Dm3. From how you are describe you would mount the GoPro I think you will have success in your time lapse

A: Angling the camera lens within the hood would present no problem at all. This is an excellent product. I have used this hood many many many times traveling on the trains in Europe. It has allowed me to take photos from the train in situations where the reflections on the train windows made it otherwise impossible. Highly recommended product.

A: As long asthe glass is clear it seems to work just fine (cuts out the reflections). If you get a haze on the inside of the panels then not so much...

A: Yes, the Lenskirt ""LENSKIRT Flexible Lens Hood will technically fit on your 16mm lens, because the draw string will allow it to fit. But, because of the extreme wide angle of that lens on a "full frame" camera, one will see the hood on the edge of photos. A: The flexible rod will easily bend to 90 degrees and beyond (The manual says 180, for whatever good that would do). If you bend it before you attach it to the hot shoe you can avoid some accidental strain. However, you will still have the offset weight of the flash unit and part of the flexible TTL rod. Additionally you will need to be careful with the flash unit installed because it can add 16-18 to the height (or width) of the camera. If you bump this into something I believe it would be possible to damage the hot shoe.
