The ARRI Octa 4 Eyelight Baffle S30 Skypanel Snapbagfrom DoPchoice replaces the translucent baffle that ships with the Snapbag. The baffle is black on the side that faces the subject and reflective silver on the side oriented towards the light source. The baffle's effect is softening the quality of light by bouncing it backward while eliminating the hot spot in the center of the Snapbag.

A: This grid is designed to fit directly on the P300C without the softbox . The front of the softbox is larger then this grid .

A: The following units compare at neck and neck. I would suggest investing in the Trp unit if the following unit is used a lot.

[0.44 lb] I purchased the SkyPanel S30-C primarily because the S60-C seemed too large to travel with, as all our shoots are on location. I'm very happy with this purchase. The features are endless. I love the plethora of accessory options and already have the DOP Choice 40 degree Snapgrid, and intensifier panel, which I use some combination there of even with the standard (included) diffusion panel for each shoot. Primarily interviews indoors and outdoors thus far and have been very pleased with the results each time. If just using the light out of the box the wide angle soft source fills much of an entire room and spills light almost in a 180 degree angle, so the grid was an immediate no-brainer for me to acquire. I was able to save parts of the foam packaging from Arri and modified it (trimmed it) and now put the Skypanel inside a Pelican 1610 case. I ditched the included yoke mount and got the center yoke mount with makes traveling and placing in the Pelican case much easier because it comes on and off without tools, which is a space saver. The center yoke mount does require a 1-1/8 spigot on your stand. I hope to purchase more of these lights when budgets allow. 5
