[Magnetic] You do get what you pay for. This is obviously top quality. I purchased an off brand of this for a different iPad and it works just fine, for 1/3 the price, but, I can feel the difference in quality. The Folio is very compact and handy. It folds so that you can use it as a stand. Very useful. 5
