A: Yes this plate is compatible with the Litepanels Astra 6X.

A: 35 inches, from end to end, including the plug on each end. Don't think your idea will work. Weight shouldn't be too much, the light is (well) light.

A: This panel has a 60 watt draw, so using an IndiPRO Tools Micro Series V mount battery from 98Wh or higher is appropriate to run the light at full power for extended time.

A: No. There are no dedicated softboxes made for the following unit. We suggest gels and umbrellas for the time being.

Q: 5. Is there any difference in light output between the Full Color and Dual Color versions?

A: Hi Thierry, The Dual Color Action Panel is going to be significantly brighter than the equivalent CCT settings on the Full Color model. A: HI These are suppose to be included with the battery platehere is the size 4-40 Pan Head, machine screws, Philips Head, Black color X4

A: No, it's a pain. You have two XLR powers dangling form the light. (One for AC the other for DC). I hate it.

Q: 10. Any idea what kind of screws I'll need to fix this bracket onto the Litepanel? I've lost the ones supplied.

[1.055 lb] Installation is incredibly simply and it works exactly as you'd expect. Doesn't increase the profile of the Astra by much, if at all. 5

[V-Mount] The light is perfect for travel. It measures 14 inches from the top all the way to the bottom of the yoke. Very bright and usable as a key light. I use an Angler soft box with 8"x8" opening. The light must be mounted sideways in order for this to work. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a small light with great punch. 5

[V-Mount] I needed small light for international travel. This light was brighter and smaller than anything I could find in its size range. It's fantastic. I've owned it for a couple of years now with never a problem. 5

[1.055 lb] The jury is out on which battery mount is better. I do like V-mount for cameras, because gravity is on your side, but for the Astra battery mount, and I have both kinds, the Gold mount, again with the aid of gravity, clicks into place safer than the V-mount kind. The V-mounts, sideways, just don't click in as safely and I have been know to drop them once or twice. Never with the Gold Mount. 5
