The black Countryman E6X Directional Earset Mic, Low Gain, 2mm Cable, 3.5mm Connectoris a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i earset that features a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom and is suitable for use when a few people will be using the same mic.

The E6X earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6X earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the lowest gain for the most powerful vocals that require the highest overload. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6X earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm connector for direct connection to Amplivox S-1600T and S-1690T wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The E6 Flex or E6X offers a versatile blend of the E6 and the E6i. With a springy, thin earpiece and a flexible boom, the E6 Flex is secure on the ear and fast to fit without compromising true invisibility and sound.

The E6X's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6X earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6X earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. do I need one or tow of these?

A: This would depend on whether your specific application calls for a diversity or non-diversity wireless system and what kind of coverage is needed. In many circumstances however, using two is most common.

Q: 2. how many microphones can connect too this ?

A: This antenna can receive signal from any number of active transmitters within range (based on the antenna's position and gain settings) that are transmitting between 470698 MHz. To clarify, this item's purpose in your wireless setup is to act as an extension of your receivers which, when properly placed and configured according to your application, can improve your transmitter(s) signal reception. However, it should be noted that your receivers are the devices that are actually connecting (or syncing) with your transmitters to interpret the captured signal of each active wireless microphone or bodypack. Thus, any limitations in number of transmitters you are able to use simultaneously would be based on the capabilities and coordination of your receivers rather than the number or type of antennas you are using.

Q: 3. Several people have asked the question about using on a dslr. I would love to use this on a dslr because it has a headphone monitor and line out. My dslr doesn't have a headphone out. This device would almost solve the audio monitoring issue that most cheap dslr's have( no headphone jack out). I know that it wouldn't be the gain controlled audio from the camera but just the raw audio coming from the mic but it is better than nothing. So, It seems like this mic would work just fine for dslr, but I wanted to be 100% sure if the jack on the mic that is TRRS(the kind with the extra ring in the connector, not just a regular TRS jack) would work with a dslr camera? Does the mic need the extra ring for power?

A: Hi, you won't be able to plug this mic (with TRRS connection) into a DSLR (with TRS input). You could use the SC3 adaptor, but you will have nowhere to mount the mic to the camera. It really has only been designed for smartphones, not DSLR cameras.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8?

A: Hello Kurt, as long as you have a standard TRRS 1/8" input to the Note 8 this should work fine. Be careful not to block too much of the input with a third party case.

Q: 5. Does this mic work with the LG G6?

A: It works through the headphone jack. Doesn't require any support from the software. So as long as the G6 has a headphone jack, it should work.

Q: 6. Does this support Huawei phones???pls give me an answer.

A: any phone jack port that has audio and mic which is almost all will work. it has a port or listening in the rears you may want to take advantage of listening as you record because its a directional focus mic you loose a lot of noise near you.

Q: 7. Does anybody have any experience with using the video mic me with apps like FaceTime or phone calling?

A: I use it for Periscope, worked great....

Q: 8. SAMSUNG GALAXY 7 EDGE?

A: I bought mine for an iPhone 6 and did't like the mic as it produced hisses and pops. The phones mic is better that this one.

Q: 9. Most demonstrations of the Rode VideoMic Me emphasize audio for closeups--either selfies or interviews. How will the mic work at greater distance from the sound source--10 feet, for example?

A: Just like any other mic, John. Camera mounted mics, boom mics...any mics sound better when you are closer and worse when you are further away. The Rode video mic does have an interference tube to help block out sound from the side, which does help. It's WAY better than the little pinhole mic in the phone. When I get further away, I use a lavalier mic. I do have a long cord, but I prefer to plug the lavalier into a small Zoom audio recorder, which fits in the pocket. Then I snyc up the sound in post. Otherwise, I keep my subject close up.

Q: 10. I use a lens for my smartphone that covers the external microphone and muffles the audio, will the microphone cancel that microphone out and record the audio itself?

A: I have no problem with this mic on my Iphone7s. It gives great sound quality. Much better than your phonemic. you might want to try the moments' lens and cover for your phone. also, go to there website at it is great info on iPhone filming. They have a Youtube channel as well at shopmoment
