With its single-cutaway design and onboard Fishman Presys II Preamp System, the C5-CE SP from Cordoba is a nylon-string acoustic/electric guitar styled in a gloss polyurethane finish. Its top is crafted of solid Engelmann spruce, while the back and sides are fashioned from mahogany. A traditional wood rosette adorns the sound hole, and other appointments such as Indian rosewood binding round out the aesthetics of the body.

As for modifications, a judicious use of a pair of pliers might allow you to slightly bend the 65Q's frame out enough to do what you need to do without too much change in cosmetics or function.
