The black Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Micron Wireless Transmittersfrom Countryman B6 Omni Lavalier Mic for Micron Wireless Transmittersis a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter. It can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, house of worship, and general lavalier applications.

This version is the least sensitive mic and a good choice for instrument applications, opera, or where the microphone will be positioned very near the mouth. Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in a performer's hair or on costumes, ties, or behind a shirt button. It can also be attached to eyeglasses, for a secure, discreet, and convenient alternative to hair miking. The ultrathin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's aramid-reinforced cable terminates to a LEMO 6-pin connector for direct connection to Micron TX 700-Series wireless bodypack transmitters.

Additionally, the included swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with a protective cap, which can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Very low, mic near user's mouth.

Q: 1. Can I use a dongle and use with my Iphone 12?

A: Yes, you can connect the Sennheiser XSW-D Portable Lavalier Set Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Microphone System to the iPhone 12. There are a few options for connection using adapters or a dedicated Lightning cable. You can use a cable like the Sennheiser CL 35 TRRS Locking 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS Coiled Cable (B&H # SECL35TRRS) combined with the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APLAADAP) or as a single-cable option, you can use the Comica Audio Locking 3.5mm TRS Male to Lightning Adapter Cable for Wireless Receiver to iPhone (B&H # COCVMDLSPXMI), or the Saramonic LC-C35 Locking 3.5mm Connector to Apple-Certified Lightning Output Cable (B&H # SALCC35).

Q: 2. Is it possible to connect this XLR system into Wireless EW Sennheiser? What would be the appropriate adapter ?

A: The Sanken COS-11D miniature omnidirectional lavalier mic with XLR output will not work with a Sennheiser EW wireless transmitter. You would actually need it to be wired with a 3.5mm male, trs locking connector. We currently carry the COS-11D wired for the Sennheiser EW wireless system. The B&H catalog number is SAC11WNSETRB.

Q: 3. There are many options of Sanken COS-11D, but I still can't find the right one! Which model can be connected to Rode Wireless Go? Please let me know the product BH#

A: Unfortunately Sanken doesn't make a specific model for the Rode Wireless Go. If you want a better quality mic option for the Rode Wireless Go, I would recommend BH #COMEMWSFF05B.

Q: 7. If recorder is accidentally set to Phantom power (48V) can the receiver be damaged when using minijack to XLR Adaptor (Rode VXLR for instance) ?
