The GyroVu USB to Sony L-Series Dummy Battery Cable 40"from GyroVu USB to Sony L-Series Dummy Battery Cable 40"allows you to use an optional 5V USB power source to power a camera or accessory that uses a Sony L-series battery. The dummy battery features a 40" cable with a USB Type-A connector. Battery status is passed to the camera using a built-in emulator chip.

The USB power source should provide at least a 2A output. Note that USB ports on computers deliver only 1A, and many common USB power banks and power adapters are also limited to 1A, so a using separate power adapter is recommended.

[40" / 1 m] I really like the fact that this accessory eliminates the need for batteries. In addition it also lighten the load of the light enabling it to stay where you adjusted it. Can by powered from 110V outlet and USB Power Bank 5

[0.15 lb] As others have noted, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A USB POWER ADAPTER THAT GIVES 2+ AMPS. As long as you have that, you'll be good to go. I'm using it with my M50 that I use with OBS, and I usually forget to turn the camera off between streams. I just half-press the shutter button to wake it up when I need to stream again. Never had any issues. 5

[USB Type-A] I was Looking for a Power Option that Didn't have me swapping out My Batteries if they were Half Charged or in Most cases forgetting to charge them at all. This solution allows me to just simple use a USB Connection whether it would be thru a Unused USB Port or a USB Portable Battery. 5
