The HT300C transmitter operates within the "C" frequency band which is 516 to 532 MHz, so your receiver will need to operate on the "C" band as well. This is the only frequency band available for use in North America. A: Transformers are used in 70/100 volt distributed audio systems. If your older speakers have the transformer , then you would use these as replacements. If your system is not 70/100 volts, then you set the rear selector switch to 8 ohms.
