Designed for 5 and 7" on-camera monitors, the CAMVATE Monitor Holder C-Frame Cage 5/8" Light Stand Receiverfrom CAMVATE Monitor Holder C-Frame Cage 5/8" Light Stand Receiveris ideal for the SmallHD 700 series. To attach your monitor, loosen the Allen key screws and slide along the grooves on the rack to adjust the height, or grooves on the plates to adjust the width. It is equipped with a 5/8" Baby receiver to support the cage rig on a light stand. The top and bottom plates feature 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points, and the portable cage is made from aluminum alloy for durability.

[0.805 lb] The LUT6 monitor is great. Bright and lightweight and great image. However the mounting points are flimsy. The light weight is due to it's plastic body. To protect those mounts in particular and the entire body in general, this form fitting cage is a must have. It does not add much weight and it adds more mounting options. The fit and quality is perfect. 5

[Aluminum] I'm using this as a cage for the Zoom H3-VR, which fits perfectly inside, mounts a 360 camera on top, and fits on a light weight aluminum tripod. The entire rig weighs less than 5 lbs thanks to the aluminum Camvate cage. Great fit and finish, all threads are smooth, no flex in the cage, and the anodized black with white lettering is sharp. 5

[0.805 lb] This is a good cage. It comes with a good amount of hardware to start off with. You'll probably eventually need more depending on what you need to mount. One thing I've noticed is the handles are easily turnable even after tightening it down, but that's not a huge deal. 5
