Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there any Instax film I can put in a Hasselblad Polaroid bag by any chance? Kind of like Fujifilm fp100c....

A: The Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film (5-Pack, 40 Exposures) is not compatible with the Hasselblad Polaplus 100 Polaroid Film Magazine. This film back only takes instant peel-apart film or pack film, which has all been discontinued. Also, there are no Instax film types that can replace it.

Q: 2. can you use i-Type film on the SX-70 camera?

A: The i-Type film is only for the i-Type cameras but you can use Polaroid Color SX-70 Instant Film (8 Exposures) BH #POSX70CLRFLM • MFR #6004 for the sx 70 cameras.

Q: 3. Is this the same film that the emulsion can be manipulated for several minutes after exposure, and doesn't dry too quickly?

A: No, it is not like the original film of years ago. You can not move the emulsion around.

Q: 4. Can this film be used in an RZ67 Polaroid film back?

A: This Polaroid Black & White i-Type Instant Film is not compatible with a Polaroid back for the Mamiya RZ67.

Q: 5. will this work on a Polaroid Sun 660 camera?

A: Yes. The Polaroid Sun 660 uses 600 film.

Q: 6. Will this 600 film work in a Vivitar Slide Printer?

A: Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film will not work in a Vivitar Slide Printer. It's an instant film for Polaroid 600-series cameras.

Q: 7. Hello! would like to know if the film boxes/cassettes have the battery in it?

A: Yes, the battery is in the film.

Q: 8. whats the difference between the film that has a battery and the polaroid film that doesn't ? is it just that you can only use this with a camera by polaroid?

A: The Polaroid Color i-Type Instant Film (5-Pack, 40 Exposures) is compatible with Polaroid i-Type cameras, including the OneStep 2, OneStep+, the Polaroid Now, and the Polaroid Lab. Because it is battery-free, it won’t work for vintage Polaroid cameras.

Q: 9. This is listed as a "new release." How does it differ from what appears to be the same product called Polaroid Originals? Will both work with my 40 year old SX70 Camera?

A: This film has better color and contrast, yes it will work with your SX70.

Q: 10. I have a Polaroid 690, and the original discontinued Polaroid film created gorgeous vibrant color saturated and sharp images. Every re-release of the Polaroid film I've tried over the years claims "authentic" Polaroid color, but it's just washed out and shifted to green/yellow. Does this film really live up to original gorgeous Polaroid color?

A: The following is a reply listed on the manufacturer's website in their "Information" (FAQ) section: When Polaroid wound down their analog instant photography business in 2008, a number of chemical suppliers that existed solely to provide Polaroid with chemistry for film production went out of business. And over the course of the last decade some of the chemistry used in film production became unavailable for commercial use. The Impossible Project faced the challenge of reinventing analog instant photography with the chemistry available, and over the past nine years has been gradually improving the processing and quality of instant film. So while we still aren’t back at the 5 minute development time (yet!), that you may remember from back in the day, the new Polaroid color film is the best to come out of the Enschede factory since Impossible took it over in 2008 - with improved sharpness and definition, development time down to 15 minutes and the same quirky, magical Polaroid aesthetic that people have always loved.

[4.9 x 4 x 0.9"] Something to keep in mind: this Polaroid film is not suitable for vintage cameras. The difference is that this cartridge does not have an integrated battery, unlike the ones used by vintage cameras. Despite that, it remains a good option because it offers good image quality. Thanks for watching the video.
