A: 1/8 or 1/4 is best and what most people use. It will give you the look your after.

A: Yes you can stack these two filters. I have both of these filters and they will stack.

A: The rule of thumb is that you increase the strength of the filter with the focal length. Depending on the desired look, I use 1/8 for wide angle lenses up till 28mm and then use 1/4 from 35mm-75mm and if needed I use 1/2 from 85mm and upwards to keep a fairly consistent effect on all focal lengths. Obviously it depends on your preference and how strong an effect you want.

A: No you can't without an adapter. Your lens takes a bayonet 67mm. You would first need to adapt your lens to a threaded filter. Unfortunately we do not carry that item.

A: This is a type of soft filter but in a way is somewhat of an ND in that it cuts out about 1 stop of light.

A: I cannot say specific to the review. But we have not had any one come to us I am aware of with issues on that filter in the 86mm size or other sizes not fitting.

A: Tiffen diffusion filters come in various strengths ranging from 1/8 to 5 depending upon the filter type. The lower the #, the less effect. The higher the #, the greater the effect. Each increment roughly double the effect, which is to say a #1 will be twice as as strong as a 1/2. A 3 is much stronger than a 1/4.

A: I don't think they manufacture 4x4+ filters in a 2mm configuration as that's too brittle.These come in a manageable and sturdy 4mm configuration.
