Vienna Symphonic Library SYNCHRON-ized Elements (Download)is a virtual instrument with a library that features the rare and unique instruments from the VI Elements collection but expanded by adding more extraordinary instruments. It also includes a host of otherworldly sonic effects created by using the Synchron Player's extensive plug-in and routing options.

The collection offers composers and arrangers production-ready archaic sounds ranging from ethereal shimmers to thunderous strikes combined with the outstanding ambience of Synchron Stage Vienna—great for adventurous film and game scoring, trailer music, or sound design.

SYNCHRON-ized Elements instruments comprise water (waterphone), metal (singing bowls, tam-tams), stone (lithophones), and glass (glass harmonica, verrophone, bottles). New instruments include a second lithophone, another waterphone, additional tam-tams, rails, thunder sheets, crotales, ocean drums, and many more.

FX presets offer the Combined FX category with a total of 24 instruments made by combining different Elements. With a variety of included mixer presets, each instrument can be placed at nine different positions in the main hall of Synchron Stage Vienna for a rich, out-of-the-box sound.

The software is compatible with Mac and Windows and operates in AU, VST, and AAX formats. It is powered by the free Vienna Synchron Player.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the Canon 24mm TS-E ll ?

A: I have to be very honest. Yes, it works. But, I really prefer my plastic bag. I ended up going back to it because it is so easy to work with. So, for pennies, you can have a wonderful rain cover and I carry 2 or 3 with me at all times.

Q: 2. Will a medium format camera (phase) fit inside?

A: Yes, the Manfrotto E-702 PL Elements Cover will fit a medium format camera. (phase)

Q: 3. will this run significantly faster than the Elements6 that I am running now (for the same functions) ?

A: Elements 6 is a rather dated application (maybe 2008). It is possible that this will run faster based on the computer it's installed on. If your computer is the same vintage as the software, you will most likely not see any difference in performance - or even be able to install it.

Q: 4. Can i use this for black magic micro cinema camera?

A: After looking at the measurements of the Micro vs the Pocket, the Micro should fit within the parameters of the cage. However, we are not able to test this so actual fitting may reveal incompatibilities such as screw misplacement.

Q: 5. Internet connection required? I work offline most of the time.

A: Internet connection is only required for application activation.

Q: 6. Will this version of Elements be compatible with Nik software such as Silver Efex Pro 2 ?

A: It would be compatible with the finalized output material form Silver Efex Pro 2.

Q: 7. Will this cover works with tripod ?

A: Yes it will. Velcro on the bottom.

Q: 8. Will this open Raw Fuji files ?

A: Depending on which Fuji camera. But most .RAF files can be opened but not saved as RAW. And you may need to download the latest version of Adobe RAW Plug in.

Q: 9. Will ejements process Nikon NEF raw files?

A: Not all Nikon camera models are supported. A list of supported cameras in Photoshop Elements 2021 is located here: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

Q: 10. Is it possible capture movie files from camcorder PXW-Z150 with SDXC 64GB to PC Intel, Windows 10 for editing?

A: Yes, you will be able to edit files from the Sony Z150 with this camcorder.

[12.6 GB] One of the great things about MOTU Symphonic Instruments is that it runs on G4 processor, and even on 256MB of RAM. Consequently, on the even the cheapest of the modern laptops (just like my 2MB Mac Air Intel i5) it works smoothly and loads all the instruments instantly. To me it's the best thing ever to run software release in 2006 on a 2012 computer, because it just runs great. And the sounds are simply breathtaking. Even the concert piano is mind blowing, really lending itself for classical piano playing in real time from my digital piano keyboard. And the price could not be better with B&H special discount offers. I took advantage of the discount, and I am a very happy camper now. Oh, and the authorization process with iLok is very good. I installed MOTU Symphonic Instruments on two computers, and to run it, I simply insert the iLok USB dongle, and voila. It's simply great.

[12.6 GB] This is my seventh virtual piano. See my review of the Bösendorfer also by VSL — this is just as supremely recorded and I prefer the Steinway sound. It's hard to see how anyone will ever do any better than this. There are 10 different microphone positions (plus the room mix which incorporates several of them in the standard library; I think the full library gives added richness). I use eight of them (not the Main or the main-C) and the plate reverb at 30% which I like better than the algorithmic reverb or the delay. If you can't afford the full, the standard will still be superior to anything else out there.
