Geared toward producers who need rock-oriented guitar amplifiers in a software form factor, the Overloud TH-U Rock Edition Guitar Rig Emulation Bundlefrom Overloud TH-U Rock Edition Guitar Rig Emulation Bundleis both a standalone and plug-in application available for download. The TH-U rock collection offers realistic emulations of 16 amplifiers, 15 cabinets, 16 pedals and rack effects, and 18 microphone models for capturing the tone from these virtual cabinets.

Users may already be familiar with Overloud amplifier emulators, and rock lovers may be particularly aware of the previous edition of this software. The TH-U Rock Collection improves earlier versions by providing new features such as Rig Player, Amp Tweak, a new multitrack looper, and more.

Rig Player loads a variety of real-life guitar rigs (amps and cabs of real players) sampled in-house with Overloud's R2M technology. You can switch quickly among rig models, and even match different cabs to different amplifier emulations.

With Amp Tweak, you can customize the tone of your chosen amp model to your exact predilections by swapping out tubes in the preamp stage or power stage. You'll also notice a virtual variable voltage regulator or Variac knob. This lets you control the tube power-supply voltage, giving you varying degrees of saturation.

Eighty presets are incorporated into the plug-in to recreate the tone of classic rock, alternative rock, or anything in between. Additionally, this software offers a matrix of four microphones, which can be placed anywhere in the 3D space in front or behind the cabinet. Drag a microphone and place it anywhere required. Change the relative distance between microphones to obtain creative phasing effects.

This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It can operate in VST, AAX, and AU platforms, and is also a standalone application.

Q: 1. The photo shows the camera user with a rod coming down from the rig and connecting to his waist. What is this, and is it included in the bundle?

A: That part is not included in this bundle. It is called the SHAPE Telescopic Support Arm with Rod Bloc B&H # SHARM2 MFR # ARM2

Q: 2. I was at the 2015 NAB Show, and I'm almost certain I saw one of these with a Canon C100 Mark II mounted on it. Is that possible? Is there an additional plate needed for that? I don't remember seeing one, but just wanted to make sure before I pursued purchasing one of these.

A: The SHAPE Sony FS7 Bundle Rig with Follow Focus is specifically for the FS7. If you mounted a C100 Mark II on it, it would be missing a right handle arm. See below for a suggested SHAPE rig for the C Series. You might have seen this rig for the C300. It is made by Zacuto. It is a very nicely tricked out rig that will also work with the C100.

Q: 3. Is there a recommended tripod plate that will pair up with this nicely?

A: I like the Libec sets, LX10 head has worked fantastic for me

Q: 4. could this kit fit a Blackmagic 6K Pro and Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens for the follow focus?

A: Yes, The SHAPE DSLR Kirk Neff Offset Rig is a Universal solution. It will work with many camera models including the Pocket 6K Pro from Black Magic. The only thing that you may need to add is a gear for your lens so the follow focus would be able to grip the lens. Gear ideas - B&H # WILU or B&H # SHLGKIT8

Q: 5. Can you use this with am iphone?

A: Yes this will work with iphones.

Q: 6. I was at the 2015 NAB Show, and I'm almost certain I saw one of these with a Canon C100 Mark II mounted on it. Is that possible? Is there an additional plate needed for that? I don't remember seeing one, but just wanted to make sure before I pursued purchasing one of these.

A: I'm only familiar with it in the fs7.

Q: 7. Can this strap bear the weight of canon 7dii with telephoto lens attached, about 6 lbs?

A: Thanks so much for contacting us. We understand your concern and can assure you that all of our straps are designed to safely carry all professional-level cameras and equipment and will easily hold 20kg (44 lbs) of static weight load. We recommend attaching the strap directly to the larger lens, as this will help distribute the weight more evenly. For an added layer of security and to help with peace of mind, we do recommend the use of the Camera Safety Tether that comes in the box with new a strap and is also available on our website as well as our Amazon store. Please be sure to take a moment to view the "How To" video on our website that demonstrates the proper attachment of the camera to the FR-5 using the carabiner for an extra snug fit.

Q: 8. Does this have a tripod mount, or is it handh-hold only?

A: Yes, the handles of the Saramonic VGM Stabilization, Mounting Rig, and Microphone Bundle have 1/4 20 mounting points for connecting to a tripod. The Phone holder in the kit can also be tripod mounted.

Q: 9. Can this be comfortably worn with a backpack?

A: I do it all the time and never think twice about it! The only complaint I have is that I have a pretty small frame and because Ive adjusted the strap the way I have, the strap tends to stick out a bit in the back/come off the hook (where its been adjusted/has a clip to hold it, but the adjustable clip on the back doesnt always hold the strap as securely when putting backpacks on and off. I just have to check to make sure it isnt sticking out funny regularly.) No photographers I know with this strap have had this complaint, but theyre mostly bulky dudes who dont have to adjustment the strap as much as I do as a slim woman.

Q: 10. Which BlackRapid product works best with a Canon SX70 HS bridge camera and binoculars for birding? What if I also carry a backpack. Like my binoculars harness because I have neck pain. Bin sit in middle of chest with straps going over shoulders, criss-crossing behind back, and returning under arms: https://www.amazon.com/Vortex-Optics-Binocular-Harness-Strap/dp/B000BH24JM Will the BlackRapid Curve Breathe work with my binoculars harness system??? Will they get in each other's way? What if I add a backpack? Right now camera on single strap and binoculars are constantly bumping each other. Can't even lift up one to look at birds without tugging and tangling. BlackRapid Binocular strap doesn't look right because it dangles from neck. Like idea of attaching bins to a backpack, but that's the exception, not the norm. Suggestions for perfect combo where camera is easy to detach if I want to hand to my boyfriend or attach a tripod?

A: Consider this Harness , BlackRapid Double Breathe Camera Harness BH #BL361003

[1 User] Purchased this strap to hold my camera as well as big lenses when attached to my camera. The neck strap was always in the way and not comfortable. Paired this with a QR socket for my camera and 600 mm lens. Simply awesome setup. The strap is adjustable to fit me and easy to put on.

[1 User] I purchased this to take with me on a trip to the Pacific Northwest where I would be hiking in the North Cascades and on Mount Ranier. All I can say is-Thank goodness I had this. The ability to have my camera readily available, but secure without putting too much of a strain on my neck was a godsend. Looking forward to using it along the sidelines for sports as well. Easy to adjust, easy to slide on and felt like nothing was there. Loved it.

[1 User] this is by far the best 360 camera that I have ever had. I have bought 3 of them in the past 4 years, and this one by far out does the other 2. it's not even a competition. my only complaint is that this set up isn't water proof. I won't take this around arond, ever.

[Download] Pros: Solid; easy to setup; highly functional compared to the original Sony arm setup; still allows comfortable on-the-shoulder use with minimal additional weight. Cons: Pushes handgrip a further 2-3 inches out to the right, decreasing balance slightly; be careful where/how you grip the arm when depressing the button and rotating it back to 'flat/stowed' - I have learned now, but clamped my finger in between the arm and the small red thumbscrews once - Owww! Great piece of gear, shame on Sony for not implementing this in the first place. :-)
