A: Unfortunately you will need to contact the manufacturer to see if any repairs are possible.

A: This is ‘weather resistant, it can fend off rain and normal water ingress but it cannot be fully submerged underwater for scuba diving etc

A: This is a IR remote control. That actually is a picture of our remote that comes with our Lecture Capture LC102 device. Although it will control our PTZ cameras, we have a PTZ remote control that will have more functionality including opening camera controls. I'm going to assume that B&H simply imported the wrong image to go with the description. It doesn't come with a receiver. Not sure of the RS 485 question. Let me know of any other questions.
