The anodized aluminum, 5 oz CAMVATE Mini Ball Head Shoe Mount Adapterfrom CAMVATE Mini Ball Head Shoe Mount Adaptercan be mounted to small tripods, brackets, and cages with its 3/8"-16 socket, and it includes a reducer bushing for mounts with a 1/4"-20 mount as well as an accessory foot for cold or hot shoes. The head's single-action ratchet handle unlocks, so you can control the 90° tilt and 360° rotation. Devices weighing up to 4.4 lb mount to the head's 1/4"-20 mount and lock into place with its thumb locking wheel.

A: The best way to separate two of the megants in the Oben Magnetic Mount Kit with Mini Ball Head is to twist or slide them away from each other in a lateral motion. You can also use the edge of table for leverage as you try to slide one of the magnets off of the other.

A: The shoe mount is removable revealing a 3/8 mount which will work with the Wooden Camera cage.

A: With ease. I have used it on many occasions with a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter to mount a shotgun mic. In fact, I have used it to mount one DSLR on top of another DSLR, which is considerably more weight than most shotgun mics. I highly recommend this mount.

Q: 4. How do I mount this to my canon Mark III?

A: You mount it, where you would normally mount a flash.

A: No.

A: This is a T12 clip. T12 is a 1.5" diameter.

A: Yes easily. I use to for my shogun recorder and a huge battery which totals around 5 lbs and still no problem. I have bought two more since.

[Aluminum] I mounted the Elvid Mini Shoe Mount Ball Head on my 10 Elvid FieldVision 10.1 LCD Monitor. It's built to hold up to 4.5 lbs and this monitor approaches the limit very closely. How its is, it will lock very securely and nothing wobbles, AS LONG AS you know how to properly install and making sure it's tightened. The Elvid Field Vision weighs exactly 19.4 oz / 550 g and I think I can load slightly heavier things on this ball head. Haven't tried yet. Now... This will seem like a no brainer on how to use a product like this, BUT, I have the best way to mount it so you won't risk wobble when tightening it then adding your monitor as an example...Please see the attached images I posted (blue background) as they are instructional images with text in it. Mount the bottom first, the add the rest of the unit. Again, see pictures. Comes also with a double sided male thread if you need to mount this ball mount head on a cheese plate of similar. Very impressed with this item. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]. 5

[Aluminum] Simple, does a good job of supporting small loads. I've used it as a monitor mount and to support a 12-inch tube light, and it held up without a hitch. Great value. 5
