It is made from durable aluminum so it is both light and strong to help protect your camera from the rigors of daily production life. The half cage leaves open access to your camera's functions, ports, battery, and camera grip. The camera mounts onto the cage via 1/4"-20 screws on the top and bottom, and the bottom features locating pins and rubber pads to prevent the camera from twisting and scratching.

The cage incorporates a shoe mount, multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, and ARRI-style accessory threads. It also features two integrated NATO rails, one on the side and the other on top of the cage. The bottom of the cage features 1/4"-20 and a 3/8"-16 threads to connect a camera plate for tripod mounting. The bottom front features two threads for an optional lens support.
