The B+W 82mm T-PRO Clear Filter for Camera Lensesis a simple, clear filter with a 1x filter factor and is designed to provide general protection for your lens. This optically clear filter does not affect overall image quality while helping to keep dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from damaging your lens. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections while providing over 99.8% light transmission, each glass surface includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coating. This Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) also offers greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The Nano coating associated with this filter provides an additional eighth layer over the MRC, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

B+W filters are constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. This filter features a thin, titanium-colored brass filter ring to minimize the potential for vignetting while enhancing durability and preventing jamming.

A: I use mostly an 18-270 telephoto lens with polarizing filter and have found there is minor vignetting up to focal length around 24-30mm. Certainly nothing a minor crop can't fix. Very happy with the speed of changing filters.

A: The current lineup of lenses that can be used with the LEE SW150 Mark II are Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, Nikon 14mm f2.8 D AF ED, Canon EF 14mm f2.8 L II USM, Canon EF 11-24mm f4L USM, Canon EF 11-24mm, Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC, Sigma 12-24mm f4.5-5.6 DG HSM II, Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 SP Di VC USD, and Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 PRO FX. So, unfortunately the 24-70 will not be compatible. However, you will want to get the dedicated adapter ring for your 14-24mm f/2.8 lens.

A: No, the Haida NanoPro Magnetic Clear Night Filter without Adapter Ring (82mm) only works with the Haida system.

A: The tripod mount on the Ewa-Marine U-B 100TR UW Housing for SLRs w/ 82mm Filter Thread lenses w/ Tripod Mount is located on the bottom of the housing. We do not have an image of this currently.

Q: 8. Can this system work witr Canon 5D Mark III with 24-70 f/2.8? Does anyone have an experience with this set up? Thank you!

A: It does but you have to tape the lens or the zoom will will get pushed to 24mm. Apparently theres a tool you can mount on the lens that holds the accordion lens portion of the bag away from the lens so it doesn't get pushed back, but I haven't found it. Let me know if you do.

[82 mm] Been using B+W clear filters for awhile. I still really like the quality of them, but these new fake leather pouches that replaced the old sturdy solid plastic cases, I find are just not something I really like. I am thinking the new pouches are cheaper and more environmentally friendly I guess. But I miss the old plastic cases, they were loads better. 5

[0.25 lb] The B+W MRC BASIC 007 Clear Filter does what it's supposed to do. It provides crystal clear protection for the lens it's attached to. The brass ring won't bind. I've used B+W filters for years and have never had an issue ... top quality at a reasonable price!. 5
