A: To answer my own question, I purchased the Verbatim DVD sleeves and they are comparable to the thickness of the Memorex. Maybe slightly thinner but hardly noticeable. Verbatim sleeves and Memorex sleeves are both noticeably thicker paper than the Maxell sleeves.
