Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can these be used when making contact prints of 4x5 negatives? Will the flap show up in the print?

A: Yes, the Print File 4 x 5 Polypropylene FoldFlap Sleeves (50-Pack) can be used when making contact prints with 4x5 negatives, but it may reduce the quality of the print.

Q: 2. Does this product come in a size that would fit a 4 x 6 photo set?

A: not specifically 4x6 sized but you could use the 5x7 envelopes.

Q: 3. are these pages 11 wide or 11 high? Are the holes included in the width? thanks

A: The Print File 911PB Polyester Album Page is 9 x 11.5 size allows full 8.5 x11 sheet to fit. It is vertical so the page is 11.5 inches tall. And the punched holes do not take up space for 8.5 x 11 images.

Q: 4. Will sleeved negatives fit back into the 4x5 film box?

A: When using the Print File 4 x 5 Polypropylene FoldFlap Sleeves, you can put the sleeved film back into a 4 x 5" film box (such as a Kodak Tri-X 4 x 5" box). Please note that it will curl up slightly on the side, but it will not damage the film.

Q: 5. What is the paper thickness on these Verbatim DVD sleeves compared to the Maxell paper DVD sleeves? I know that the white Memorex sleeves (which BH does not have right now) is thicker than the Maxell white sleeves. Thanks! -Tim

A: To answer my own question, I purchased the Verbatim DVD sleeves and they are comparable to the thickness of the Memorex. Maybe slightly thinner but hardly noticeable. Verbatim sleeves and Memorex sleeves are both noticeably thicker paper than the Maxell sleeves.

Q: 6. How many cases are there?

A: Never mind about the question.

Q: 7. I have 4 by 7-inch glass negatives from the 19th century. Will these be ideal for archival storage?

A: As long as you are careful with inserting the glass negative into the Print File Negative Pocket and it is stored somewhere that will protect it from being crushed or broken during storage, yes, the Print File Negative Pocket (5 x 7-, 100 Pack) may be used for your archival storage usage needs.

Q: 8. how many sheets in a pkg.?

A: about 50

Q: 9. Will this negative pocket fit in a 4 x 5 film box?

A: The Print File Negative Pocket (4 x 5", 100 Pack) is 5.25 x 5.19 inches so it would not fit into a cardboard box such as the ones that ship with Kodak 4x5 films.

Q: 10. The picture shows black interior but the description says white. Which is it? Thank you.

A: Although the photo shows a black interior, it would be white. The images on our site are for illustrative purposes only, so colors in the images can vary. We apologize for any confusion this might have caused.

[Polypropylene] I burn many discs and see no sense in spending the extra money for plastic cases. These are just fine for my needs. They can be written on or stickers can be used and they cost very little. My grandson can chew them up if he chooses!

[2.55 lb] Simple and cheap. No complaints. I could have made this a super advanced and longwinded technical review, but I’ll spare you. ;-)

[Polypropylene] I use these folios for client DVD sales. The are inexpensive and look nice when you present your work. Only wish they had these in white also.

[Polypropylene] There are your typical paper CD/DVD/Blu-Ray envelopes to keep your disks protected. They do that. What more can you say.
